Hephaestus Myth Novels & Stories

I asked him, panic thick in my voice as I suddenly looked around in fright and waited for whatever this evil may be to suddenly attack me since I was aware of its existence. "Tis a tale, is it not?" he casually spoke with a shrug and I shook my head. "There is truth in myths, Abigor. You of all people should know that," he was a man of intelligence, no doubt a man that should be aware of truths in all matters myth or folklore, "and what you have described...only one mythical creature is capable of sucking the blood out of its victims..." Master Abigor looked down at me, his eyes emotionless yet eager. The left corner of his lips slightly raised as he gave me a slow blink, "and which mythical

"Wow... " "At last! Let's line up now! Zeus with Hera! Then Athena! Aphrodite stand here with Hephaestus... " And so on. Hephaestus, which is Gibson, stood beside her. He's like a dead earlier and now, he's much brighter than the sun now that he's near her. I hissed. Hephaestus is the ugliest God and Aphrodite's the prettiest goddess. They are not meant to be together because he is UGLY.

“Aphrodite was a goddess and of course, that meant she was naturally beautiful. You will soon find out the family trees in Greek mythology go straight up with very few branches. They loved inbreeding.” The class burst into laughter. I looked over at Christopher who looked mildly uncomfortable to be standing in front of the class. “Hephaestus is believed to have been handicap in some way. How he got that way is something that varies from tale to tale. Some believe he was born that way; others believe the injury he suffered that made him lame was due to his father, Zeus, tossing him out of Mount Olympus after Hephaestus tried to protect his mother, Hera, in a fight.”

Klay stands next to Milo, watching Leticia with starry eyes. Heph motions to his side for me to stand and begins his speech. “My name is Hephaestus. God of Fire and Technology. I’m here today in endorsement of the Goddess Iokaste Mason and in defiance of certain Gods on Mount Olympus. I would like to tell everyone this is going to be a joyous occasion, and it is, but based on recent events, I want to warn you that as we move through the ceremony, Zeus himself may show his disapproval of your Luna’s ascension to Luna of the Menae. It matters not. When she has completed the ceremony, no one can take the honor away from her.”

Signs of a significant catastrophe looming not too far in the distant future. "Little mistress," I say hurriedly. "This is not Neptune, but Vulcan's work," trying to remember my Roman mythology. Vulcan, the god of the forge, his Greek counterpart Hephaestus. Vulcanism derived from the god's name, hence the word "volcano." Mixing mythology with some sound B.S., I continue. "Vulcan will cause the mountain to erupt, and in effect, destroy Pompeii." "How do you know this?" She asks with her green-blue eyes rounded in fear. I hate lying to a child, but what harm can a white-lie cause?

Little by little, with the help of her wolf, she progressed and now that her mate had fucked up, they feared secretly for what might happen to her or what might become of her. Lucas was brought out of his thoughts by Chaos hard tone as she gave an answer to Lucien’s question. “That was why I came here Luce. I’m still thinking about it but in the meantime, I wanted to ask mum to call dad’s friend Hephaestus, the god of dwellings, furnishing, weapons and fire… there are some things I have in mind that I wanted to discuss with him...” And then Chaos launched into details of the things she plans to carry out.

Fuming with hatred, I pace back and forth while thinking of ways to destroy Mysteria. Finally, I come to a halt and smile as the answer comes to mind. Thypon, the God of ferocious monsters. He has the head of a dragon, a bat's wings and a serpent's body. Once a God amongst the other deities in the Celestial Realm, Thypon wreaked death and destruction across many worlds. To end Typhon’s terrible ways, the deities and I trapped him beneath a volcano for all eternity, compelling the volcano never to erupt since that was the only way Thypon could be released.

Cassie snapped back. "Wait, doesn't that like make him the devil?" Carmen spoke this time. "His name is Prometheus," corrected Henry, "and is a Greek deity renown for stealing fire from the gods which still sounds even crazier due to the mere fact that he's hunting us right this instant! I mean, this clearly changes our understanding of the entire universe..." Carmen slightly nodded her head before slowly turning to look out the window and save herself the torment of hearing Henry geek out all over the place.

Hectate Aphrodite and Dimitri told us about one of the warriors and his daughter within the pack and how he resembled Dominick and himself greatly. We were all shocked, and when they showed us what they looked like, I could see Dominick in both of them. I was the only one to remember what we had planned and what really happened that day. I had kept my word and not told anyone, but every now and then, Hephaestus would look at me like he was trying to remember something important. Lillyana told me that the spell would never wear off, but I wonder if that is not true for us gods. I guess time will tell. I decided to do a bit of research on my own to see if I could figure out anything abou

Her son Hephaestus tried to release his mother from her humiliating position, for which Zeus threw him out of heaven, and his leg was broken by the fall.
