Narrator's POV He watched her run off in tears and he felt his heart trumble in discomfort. It was never supposed to be like this. He wasn't sure anymore if he still hates the lady as he claims he does, and he knew deep down that she was dangerous, but all he wanted any way was to get closer to her as the day goes. It sounds very stupid, and even to him as well because he was not supposed to feel anything apart from hate for her, but again she didn't wrong him in anyway, or did she?

“Liam is a bully. I don’t like bullies.” “Mhm,” he rose to his feet and moved to stand near the wall of greenery. “You are a hero.” “Me?” I was astonished. “Oh, no. That’s Tarragon. She’s the hero. I’m just… me.” “No,” he turned back and offered me his hand. His palm was warm and calloused against mine and his arm strong as he lifted me to my feet. He smiled down at me and reached out to stroke a lock of my hair that had fallen free of its braid back behind my ear. “You are a hero. Every villain needs a hero, and you’re mine, Daethie. I think it’s safe for us to get out of here. What do you think?”

"I am the 'Root Directory.' You cannot delete the one who 'Saved' the file." He pointed the pencil at Rowan. ***"The Hero fell,"*** the Author spoke, the words appearing in the air in black, jagged ink. Rowan’s knees buckled. His bronze armor began to crack. ***"The Hero was forgotten,"*** the Author continued. Rowan’s face began to blur. His eyes lost their bronze fire. He looked at me, his hand reaching out, but his fingers were turning into mist. "No!" I lunged at the Author, but an invisible wall of "Plot" held me back.

He walked toward Jerome and led him to sit on a boulder with him. Adrian said, “We use the word ‘hero’ to address those who have contributed, but do you know that heroes have been misunderstood throughout history? They’re always lonely, just like Saul had been. Do you know why that is?” Jerome shook his head and looked at Adrian with naivety as he said, “No.” Adrian smiled. “That’s because they always do their best and devote all their efforts to what their hearts tell them to do. Hence, they hide everything inside and aren’t skilled in socializing with others. They’re destined to be lonely.”

No matter how absurd they came across as, there was some truth within those pompous words that praised and elevated the status of the one heralded as the hero in that tale. Every hero of a legend had a humble past. None had an origin that reeked of superiority. For some reason every protagonist was either a weakling who had to slowly gain strength, or a deeply talented individual lacking the familial support or love to reach the peak. Of course, every now and then a hero would be born who possessed all the elements of Prince Charming: looks, talent, intelligence, and a brilliant background. It also talks about the legend and how they're to descend on earth and surprisingly, I land in the first warrior's name: Hera. Just like in my dream, the beautiful lady called me Hera and in this book, she is described as a graceful warrior, one whose weakness becomes her strength. Out of the four warriors, she has the best healing magic and she's a strong barrier creator. Not to mention that she's a strong warrior. The book describes her as calm, but horrendous when angry. Gosh, did they just describe me? I flip over to the other warriors. Aurora is the strongest warrior in terms of combat. She has the best barrier skills as well as using her aura as an offensive power.
