You must leave this illusion…” The woman mindlessly followed what the voice said. She slowly lifted her left foot and started walking forward. She was blind on what path she was taking, but she was guided by hands that were forcefully pushing her forward. “Child! You must fight it!” The woman halted when she heard a familiar voice calling her. She looked around, but it was still pitch-black.

Nicholas said still staring at me. I wrinkled my face at him. "Really?" "What?" "That's such a cheesy line and I've read it in too many romance novels to know what it means." | said and that seemed to have Nicholas interest because he sat up from the bed. "Oh yeah, what does it mean?” Nicholas asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at his piqued interest. "The hero says something like that to the heroine and she momentarily forgets herself. Before you know it, they are making sex memories."

"If I'm not the hero, what am I?" Ashton waits for me to label him as a villain. In his comic books, that's the dichotomy—heroes versus villains.

You could tell already by the name of the city right? Hero League was an organization that pooled together normal people and trained them to become heroes. From chasing of bank robbers to extinguishing of fires in burning buildings, to serving as body guards to important people as well as getting stranded animals down from trees, or odd places, the heroes were ever available. Duties were always assigned to the heroes according to their rankings. Slads were what the newbies at the hero league were called. All they basically did was train and foster a great team work among themselves.
