Rylin's POV Amy and I walked into her Rouge house. The place was fascinating, pictures of rouges down every hall, pictures of the Alphas and pack names on certain halls. They still identified with their packs even the ones who had been tossed. Then they're was the one hall that stood out the most 'Hidden' is what it said. We turned down that hall and it was pictures of rouge Alpha and Betas starting back from centuries all the way until it led to Davina and Amy's pictures. This place was beautiful, a story on every corner. Something they all can be proud of. If only it was so easy for others. She made this a home for them.

Tears sprung forth as she glared at the monster before her. It looked like a cross breed between a leech and a flea, and it was already wriggling its huge bulbous butt, looking ready to pounce back onto its host. Just as Nozomi dove for her backpack, the parasitic monster jumped and crashed into the wall behind Nozomi. Nozomi’s fingertips barely reached her bag, with her legs still restricted by the monster under the table. She yanked hard on her bag strap then stuck her hand inside her bag.

The only way they could do this was by joining hands. “The monster is sneaky. It disguises very well as it can change its colour and texture. Usually it finds its victims near its hideout and you can only kill it inside its hideout,” Jill read on. “So all we have to do is follow him to his hideout and cast a spell,” Olivia said, laughing lightly. “I guess you won’t have to if it saw you. It will abduct you anyways and take you to its hideout,” Meredith joked. Olivia and Jill looked at each other and smiled.

And the monster underneath it finally reveals itself, the Collins - series Obsidian, black, massive looking like a predator itself. Even buried under dust and grime, the shape is unmistakable. My throat tightens. “I would recognize this silhouette anywhere, “ I murmur, my voice rough has hell. “Even in hell,” I grunt out as I smash the side, which causes a dent in the side. I step closer, the front hood catches the light, and my breath stops, it's bent, a jagged misalignment, like a scar. Slowly, I reach out and press my palm against the hood.

A distortion flickered, and the zombie vanished. It was gone. All that remained was the trembling wire in front of them. "Boss… What was that?" "A level six mental-variant zombie," Hayley said. A spark lit in her eyes. So it knew how to hide itself and strike from the shadows.

Making her way up to her bedroom, Serafina got changed into a pair of sweatpants and a cotton crop top before lying down in bed, staring out the window and allowing the sound of the waves to lull her to sleep. Halfway through the night, she awoke with a gasp, her breathing uneven and erratic, staring around her in the darkness and feeling the presence of a being in the corner of her room. Turning on the light, her heart pounded at seeing no one there. Stumbling out of the bed, Serafina made her down the stairs and towards Alessio, seeing him falling off the couch with the blanket thrown on the floor. Grabbing hold of his hand, she pulled at his arm, effectively awakening him

The remnants of her mother’s and father’s lives beckoned her from the attic, like sirens calling her to uncover the secrets hidden within their old belongings. With a deep breath, Aqua climbed the creaking stairs to the attic. Dust motes danced in the beams of sunlight streaming through the small window, and the air was thick with the scent of aged paper and wood. She rummaged through boxes filled with forgotten memories, her heart racing with anticipation.

She was bloodied and badly wounded but Chloe could feel that she was still alive. The shadows didn’t hesitate. They lunged forward, moving like ghosts as they charged at the creature. The creature let out a enraged shriek that was so loud Chloe thought her eardrums might burst. But still, the wolves carried on, unaffected by the inhuman sound. Something about the shadows charging it down clearly unsettled the mysterious monster because it was off of its victim in an instant darting off into the forest without a trace.
