Leon was standing still but his eyes are sharp and active, ready to shoot anything that moves. Agnes didn't dare. She didn't move and stood still while her pale face was illuminated by the moon's mocking light. She was disheveled, far from the gracious and precious image that she carried for almost 19 years. Her red hair was like a bird's nest with blades of green grasses and dirt on top of it. She has a small wound on her pale cheeks, corner of her right eye, and lips and they were bleeding. The red blood slid down slowly on her face, painting it red.

Chapter 2 “Thank you” he said lifting her hands to brush his lips in an airy kiss, whilst studying her face. She had amazing hazel green eyes, he imagined drowning in them but as he looked deeply into them, he saw something sad lurking behind them, she seemed to have hidden them quite well and Richard had a sinking feeling that she hide it even from herself, someone had hurt her badly and she pretended to not feel the pain, Richard felt his hands fist up and realized that he actually wanted to strangle that person and hurt him even worse than the way he had hurt this woman.

They were left far enough behind to be nothing more than an unpleasant memory. Still, Emily stared through the window at the darkness in silence, afraid to believe it was actually over. "I'm William," the dark-haired man said, breaking into her musing and reminding her she hadn't escaped all the monsters yet. She turned toward him slowly, and noticed his arm that was nearest to her had scars that ran from his wrist all the way up his arm until they disappeared under his sleeve. They were too numerous to count and created a strange criss-cross pattern across the muscles and skin.

" She... She re-opened dad's case? Why? Isn't she the one who told me that I should stop fighting against that invisible enemy of us? Why would she... Do this?" I stood up even if I feel like I would fall in any moment. I accidentally passed by a mirror and saw my scar. The memories that I buried six feet under the ground starts to flash like a flood. " The only sound left in the room was the steady ticking of the machines. I turned away and carefully put the irises into the vase by Mom's bed. He stood up slowly, quietly. "Remember to put ointment on your knee when you get home. It's scraped." The door closed softly behind him. I thought I heard a muffled sob. However, maybe it was just my imagination. Back home, my daughter gently put ointment on my knee. I patted her head, turned on the computer, and started writing a new post.
