~Patricia’s POV~ The rain wasn’t just falling; it was punishing the glass. I stood by the tall, arched windows of the Westview High library, watching the streetlights blur into golden smears against the asphalt. It was past 8:00 PM. Theoretically, the building was empty. Technically, I was supposed to have clocked out an hour ago. But the house I went home to was too quiet, and the book in my hand was too loud.

I traveled my eyes to the whole place but only a group of jocks was what I saw so I didn't spend much time searching for anything and walk myself to the library. I tried my best to close the door with no sound a d search for Uno's built when I entered the room. The signboard told me that this library will close at 6:30 pm. The shelves are cleanly arranged and the tables were far from each other. The ceiling fans are closed, and the only people that I saw are the same group of those junior geeks Uno is talking with days ago and a group of senior girls doing something I don't know.

Some rules have divided sections. On the first page were rules to the sitting room and diner table. Whoever gets to the sitting room first decides what channel to watch. Business news must be watched in the morning and night. No phone is allowed at the diner till the diner is over. No eating after the forty minutes the diner has started. “Funny eating is even timed,”I chuckled. I was reading the rules to be familiar with the house and to avoid getting into troubles with them. Same time, reading it keeps me company so I don’t miss my phone too much. Library is a must visit on Wednesday afternoons for two hours.

★ It was 3:36 pm, and Vivian was busy with her librarian duties at the Great Hill Towns Public Library. “Have a good day, and don't forget to bring back the book on the due date to avoid paying the penalty fine,” she said with a warm smile as she spoke to a teenage girl borrowing a book from the library. They pick up a book in Sci-Fi and leave it in Horticulture. Make sure the shelves are perfect. I won't have a messy house.”

But they stop immediately they heard someone sniff they wonder who was at the library at this time of the day. The library normally closes by 5 pm but to their outermost surprise it is already 6 pm and someone is still at the library, they wonder what the person is doing at the library by this time of the day. The library teacher made it clear that no one should be seen in the library today due to the mate bond ceremony but here they are stocked in a particular spot as they were confused about whether to go in or ignore the sound they heard and then continue to search for their friend who they know nothing about her where about.
