“You’ll end up with nothing.” Abruptly, he threw his head back and laughed heartily. “Oh my fucking Lord! Ha, ha, ha…! That’s the most hilarious thing I’ve heard in so many years!” He seemed to be in a pleasant mood. And it’s contagious. I wanted to smile along, but experience taught me to stay vigilant. “It looks like Miss Quinton really does care about Mr. Strathmore. She’s been pulling little stunts in private.” Seeing their reaction, Corey smiled at me. “Mr. Strathmore, you see it now, don’t you? He winked again. "God... get your eyes checked. And you are what a clown who can't stand sad faces?" "I am not, but... I can be that for you." He said and dipped his index finger in a ketchup bowl and painted it on his nose as he started making weird faces. "Hello beautiful, my name is Mr. Laughter and I make people laugh." He said it in a childish tone.

' I say mentally. However, what I say, although it calms him down, doesn't make him feel embarrassed or angry, but rather, he laughs. And he doesn't laugh coldly, but, a genuine laugh, the kind you can't fake. Showing me that he does feel. That he can be happy. "I've never heard a joke as good as this one, wife. You should be a humorist," Helmut says wiping away a tear that escaped his eyes from laughing so hard. "What joke are you talking about?"

I laughed, knowing that I had hit a sensitive spot. But then, Sophia suddenly looked up at me, a sly grin spreading across her face. "Actually, my ex-husband was a cheapskate," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "He took me to the most luxurious place he could afford... the McD*nald's drive-thru." I burst out laughing, unable to contain my amusement. Sophia's joke was hilarious, and I was impressed by her quick wit. As I laughed, Sophia smiled, looking pleased with herself. "I'm glad I could make you laugh," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

I looked at him, gazing at the scar and his steel silver eyes that assessed me bore no emotion as usual and then I looked at the army and the two women a few paces away from me and I did what was best at the moment. I flared into deep, boisterous laughter, the type of laughter that made me want to clutch onto my belly despite my hands being tied and the type that made me want to roll on the floor while laughing cause this was the best birthday prank ever and grump was a damn good actor. _________________
