The Great Hall looked nothing like the royal throne rooms from fairy tales. There was no trace of medieval romance in it. Instead, it felt like a dark, threatening fusion of a cathedral and a military command center. The walls were made of black marble that seemed to swallow light, and the ceiling rose so high into shadow that for a moment I thought I was staring at a star-filled sky. Then I realized the “stars” were the distant, cold glimmers of the Nest’s energy crystals.

She exited the bedroom, “Beware of beautiful witches in the function. Otherwise, be ready for the consequences.” Aaron whirled to take a glimpse of her. She ran away before he could process it. He shook his head and rubbed his right hand on his head, “And you are looking hot.” He strode after her, but there was no glimpse of her in the corridor. He reached the giant hall where the ceremony was going to take place. Every wall was decorated with aesthetic things. In the middle of the hall, two giant-sized Lotus bowls, which were gold-plated and carried a shiny look, were placed.
