Taking the book off the shelve I may just find what I wanted to know here. I take a glass of bourbon and go sit in front of the fireplace. The small fire tongues lapping at the logs. Opening the book, I started reading about black magic but nothing that I could relate to what was happening to me and Brian. I have been reading now for about two days and was tired, so I closed my eyes and, before long, I drifted off. I saw Hailey standing at the door. Confused, I began flipping the pages only to find nothing but an empty pages, a thick empty book.

She read the words one after the other; as her finger touched a part of the words, a secret hole opened, revealing a large book. Chloe was standing behind her, curious of what's happening She carried it, blow on it as the book was covered in dust. Chloe handed her a cloth and dusted it with it. The first thing her eye catches was the words on the front cover, "Forbidden" She read slowly.

Finishing the last bit of food on her plate, Hazel walked over to the side of the table to grab Luca's plate too and put it outside the door for the servants. She caught sight of the strange book she had borrowed from the library, the one about the inner wolf. She scoffed to herself. She hasn't really read anything more ridiculous. She grabbed the plate of the table, realizing there was piece of paper lying just beneath the book. Her brows drew together, forming a tense line in the middle. Carefully, she slipped the note out from under the book. Carefully unfolding the note, her brows furrowed even more as she realized it was another ash note.

There’s a picture of some sorta tribal man squatting down with both hands raised to the sky etched into the cover and traced in silver. Otherwise, it’s a plain-looking book, all bound in pebbly black leather.
