Slowly, I took hold of the medium-sized mirror, gazing into my reflection. It was as though someone had poured a bucket of ice-cold water over me. Frozen in shock, goosebumps lined my skin, and I was certain I had stopped breathing. I kept staring at the reflection of a stranger staring right back at me. Fear engulfed me next, making my heart painfully squeeze in my chest. In shock, the mirror slipped from my trembling hand, sliding to the ground and shattering into several pieces. "What..." I breathed out, my entire body shaking from dread. My hands began to roam across my face in disbelief, exploring my unfamiliar features.

Nora stepped in partially while cradling my crying baby girl in her arms. “You have to see this.” Abbie looked at me, and I nodded, letting her know I’ll be alright. We all stepped out of the room and sat on the couch in front of the huge TV screen. My eyes widened, however, when a picture of my face was flashed on the screen. Then, a video started playing. “You know who the f*ck I am.” His rugged voice alone sent a shiver down my spine. And I froze. My eyes immediately going to the screen. Heart thundering in my chest as I see his handsome face, but a deadly aura inseparable from him.

His eyes were wide, with pupils fixed on the screen as though they would pop out of their sockets. His soft little face froze in an expression of pure, unfiltered shock. His lips quivered, but not a single word came out.

But then, the unbelievable happened. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the ecstasy on his face contorted into something else entirely, a horrifying rictus of shock and agony. The man froze, his body going rigid, every muscle locked. His eyes, already wide, dilated further to grotesque proportions, threatening to burst from their sockets, reflecting a sudden, profound horror.

The kind of face that had probably been handsome once and haz settled into something more interesting with age. His eyes went to me first as if sizing a threat. Then they moved to Morana. And he went completely PALE all at once. Like someone had removed the blood from his face in a single moment. His hand tightened on the door frame and he stared at her with an expression that had nothing professional in it. He was in shock. “You look exactly like your mother,” he whispered in a breath. The words landed between all three of us like something physical. I watched Morana absorb it then go very still the way she did when something hit her that she needed a moment to process.

Buddy dropped the next bombshell onto me, my entire face holding shock as I stare back at him. But Buddy was not done with his bombshells.

I dashed into the shower and in some minutes I was out,all dressed and out of the room. The hallway was quiet. I went to the main living room to see faces filled with shock staring at me. They were dumbstruck. I stood momentarily waiting for someone to speak up but they were still dazed,apparently haven't yet recovered. "What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?" I asked flummoxed, looking at Mitch and Rhona,then to Carter, Lizzy and Helene- one of Rhona's Witch sister. "Alpha" Rhona came closer, her shock still plastered on her face. "What happened?"

Especially when it got to the part where he saw the unspeakable played in the video. "..." 'This is...'
