I get in the car and start the engine, heading back home. When I arrive, the house is in chaos. Mum is rushing about, all of my dads are here, and even Violet seems to be running from one room to the other like a headless chicken. "What is going on?" I ask no one in particular. Silence creeps into the chaos before everything comes to a screeching halt as everyone turns to face me, a mix of shock and horror on their faces.
