Horror Nights

Horror Nights

Squelch-pop. I snapped my head back to the mirror. My reflection was pressed against the glass. Its hands weren't resting on the imaginary sink in its world; they were splayed against the interior surface of the mirror, the fingers white and bloodless from the pressure. Its face was inches from mine, separated only by five millimeters of silvered glass. The most terrifying part wasn't the proximity, but the expression. It wasn't my face anymore. The features were identical, yes, but the intent was a jagged, predatory hunger that I had never felt in my life.

Hellbound!

Hellbound!

Abigail looked around only to see the bodies littered about the hard asphalt. Most of them turned to have jagged faces all to the edge. Their eyes were like round ball, some even lost their eyes to the battle as they now looked like an orchid creature with dead instinct. Ezekiel began to pick the bodies up. They definitely must clear the mess up because if humans residing here in Viscarria come to witness such, or probably see blood and bodies on the highway, they would obviously begin to wonder what had happened. They would get terrified of even the smallest of thing.

Marriage of Deceit

Marriage of Deceit

I touched my hair and dragged a pin I used in holding my hair. After five long minutes of fumbling, sweat gathering at my brow, the lock finally clicked under the pressure of my hairpin. “Finally…” I exhaled, relief rushing through me as I turned the knob. But the moment the door creaked open, a shadow loomed. Before I could even scream, a sharp blow struck the side of my head. My vision blurred..pain exploded white-hot..and the last thing I saw was a man in a black face mask standing over me, his eyes cold and unreadable.

Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

Mated To The Alpha Alien

Mated To The Alpha Alien

A man snarls with short brown hair and stormy grey eyes as he approaches me. With my heart thumping against my ribcage, drowning everything out that surrounds me. I quickly start to retreat from his proximity. The moon-infected man lurches forward, he takes hold of my upper arms, and he headbutts me. Excruciating pain spreads across my head, and my vision becomes cloudy. But not cloudy enough as I unwillingly watch as he falls to his knees.

Definitely wasn't expecting the writing to be great! Usually when I come across popular werewolf stories, they contain many grammatical and spelling errors but this one showed how the author really take time crafting their chapters. I'm not into the werewolf genre but this one is greatly written!

Hidden parts of a Bad Hunter

Hidden parts of a Bad Hunter

Only keeping me at the edge of sanity. Centuries later, I thought you were gone but then... you appeared. You still looked the same, with your crown of golden hair and dark hooded eyes that always seemed to pierce everyone it landed on, the opposite of me, the light to my dark. I'll make you remember me and love me again. Even if I have to set the world on fire.

On the Origin of Humanity

On the Origin of Humanity

"It's going to have to." So, with a vengeance, we pounced on the closest infected, cutting the brake pads of an ex-automobile girlfriend's style. Justine used the bayonet mount of his rifle to hammer in skulls, while Peter grabbed his crowbar to bash the rotten down and then spear its head with the thin end. I swung at one and landed on a solid section of the head. The impact causes my shoulders to quiver, nearly forcing me to drop the bat. The rotten staggered backward but did not fall. He stopped and turned with a snarl, enabling me to witness my handiwork, or should I say masterpiece. The vertex of his head had crushed in, giving him the appearance of someone having had the first slice of

Shadow Pact

Shadow Pact

His eyes were an amazing shade of gold, and just now they sparkled with the dark promise of death. Almost too fast to follow his movements, the dark-haired man crossed the room with its crumbling plaster walls and stood behind the wolf with two curved, ornate hand sickles already in his hands. The soft ringing of metal resounded as he swung with expert precision, not even brushing her hair with his blades while he decapitated her tormenter. The head that had just been level with hers went one direction, while the hands gripping her arms fell away and the body toppled to the floor on her other side. Her mouth fell open in stunned horror, then clamped firmly shut again as she was sprayed with

Beneath the Howling Pines

Beneath the Howling Pines

At the base of a tree split down the center like a lightning strike, half-buried in dirt and moss, was a shard of metal. I knelt, brushing it clean. It wasn’t natural—it was carved. A crescent moon surrounded by jagged lines, the symbol of the moon goddess twisted into something darker. Corrupted. My fingers tingled as I touched it. Pain flared in my palm—a vision slamming into me like cold water: —Two wolves, black and silver, standing across from each other, snarling, blood dripping from their muzzles. —A circle of fire. —A girl with my face screaming as she held something glowing in her hands—something bright and dying.

Claimed By The Blood Moon King(The Alpha’s Hidden Mate)

Chapter Eighteen Happy?!! He was wondering if I was happy?!! He just waltzed in with a bunch of heads!! I stared in shock as the other servants quickly rushed to discard of the heads that was laid on the floor. The sight, horrific and unlike anything I’d ever seen. No matter what he says, or claimed to be, Rowan lived up to his name—monster. I stepped back, right into Lenore’s arms before we both sank into the damp ground. She patted my shoulder gently,
