I ask him and he stands and goes over to his bookshelves and pulls out a huge book and brings it over to desk that sits in the corner of the room. I quickly get up and moved to him wanting to see the content in the book. I look at the pages as Travis flips slowly through them and I realize every horror movie made in Hollywood was made from a creature of this book. I began to read a page and Travis went to flip the page to quickly and I reached down to stop him from flipping the page and my hand accidentally brushed his hand and chills went through my body to the tips of my toes and I turned to look at him and he was already looking at me.

Chapter 45: Nightmares Girl Night came faster than expected. I have been curled in my room reading different novels, which had kept me busy most of the time. The stories were a good distraction from everything happening around me. Suddenly, a heavy wind blew so loudly, hitting against my large window with so much force I thought it might break. I suddenly looked upwards, towards the window, and my heart froze completely. I saw someone so familiar, their hair looked rough and wild, like something that came straight out from a horror movie and their eyes looked so wild, like only the white part of their eyes was visible, rolled back in a way that made my stomach turn.

“The novel’s title is Shocking Shocked, and it tells the story of a guy who was electrocuted after disclosing shocking news?” I bit the bottom of my lip. “Well... It’s one of my favorite novels.” She slapped herself across the forehead. “Dainty! We should not read novels like these. I assumed you were interested in romantic novels, so I let you read books, and then I’ll know that you’re reading about terror and murder novels?!” My mouth was closed. What can I do if I’m not a fan of romance novels? Horror, mystery, and psychological stories are my favorite, and not romance. When I read a romantic novel, my whole body convulses. They simply do not appeal to me.

They were self-explanatory, and she would be able to tell which part of the book was most promising. She flipped through until she reached the back of the book with the cautionary tales. She skipped over the first one about Lysander, and the next few didn't seem promising either. Story after story passed by, and she was about to give up and read it closely for hints . . . until the very last section. She had heard short tales about it from chapters people read but never got to read it. As she opened each chapter to read, every word she read sounded so real, and she felt her palms sweat at the actions and horrors that happened. How the great Dracula had turned people into beasts, taken over the earth, and made everyone fear him. "You found the right one," a voice said to her, which quickly made her look up at whoever was talking. A man who wore a hooded clothing stood there, and he looked creepy. Aurora looked around her and noticed that the guards never really cared.

I had no time to waste, and that ocean of books was demanding my undivided attention. So, as a last resort, I checked the files for classification of books and eventually found the section regarding interracial mating. The topic of the two bloodlines was eye-opening for me, my heart flipped several times reading the details of the bonds. I was so lost in gathering those facts that time flew by, and I couldn’t notice the sun was setting in the East when Nova started howling painfully. “We’re going to lose something very important, Helena. I’m scared!” Her pure fear enveloped my body. I considered this reaction natural, as the chapter I was reading was terrifying. However, soon my stomach knot

They keeping saying these words and I don't even know why but I feel like there's more to it. Suddenly, my eyes darted upstairs. That book could mean something as well. Since I saw that in his study, I could not stop myself from wanting to read it and I think I really should. I climbed upstairs and twisted the knob. The creaking sound as the door pushed opened reminds me of a scene in a horror film where one sneaks into a place where she should not be. But I have made up my mind. I need to find answers to my questions. I grabbed the book that I once saw. Breathing in heavily, I closed my eyes as I opened the book.

One or two times, his eyes fall on me and fear grasps them. He must be searching for a horror story. But I certainly don't look like a ghost!
