As I’m falling, there’s a distinct whooshing sound above my head. “No,” Jo screams as she stares at the academy’s gates. Jo lets go of her weapon and quickly sprints towards Ora and me. “Marco’s here,” she says as she grabs hold of us. I hear the whoosh again and Jo forces us both to the ground. “Run,” Jo screams at us. I got to my feet, prepared to run as if the devil himself was chasing me.
