Dry blood stuck on the edge of her lips. “Oh God. My queen. I’m so sorry. Forgive me. Forgive me please.” She cries while hoding btoh of Eve’s cheek. “Damien…he killed him. He beheaded poor Damien. Oh Goddess, what can we do? What can we do? I have no magic…I can’t…” She now in a state of shock as Ariadne tries to calm her. “What do you mean your magic is gone? What did you do, my queen?”

He cleared his throat before continuing, “Even her magic was useless against a powerful witch like Ariana. So, she used an ancient form of magic and used her life source to power it. She managed to kill Ariana and Andrew but she turned into ashes in this process…” Nivaan couldn’t speak any further. He turned on his heel and stormed out of the room. My hands flew to my ears as if that would make the words that I just heard disappear. My legs shook and I slumped to the floor. Kevin drew me into his arms to comfort me but it wasn’t enough. The grief was just too much to bear…

Anything! “I didn't think the worst; I saw it with my own fucking eyes. Do you expect me to be smiling and jumping when I'm with someone who can kill another person as if he were an animal?” She spat, looking at him in disbelief as tears streamed down her face. Alexa couldn't help it; she couldn't pretend to be okay with everything she found out today. Whether he was Morgan or Draco, she didn't want him in her life anymore.

When he thought he had sparked my interest by mentioning Aria's name, he continued. "That fateful day, after we had a passionate night, Audrey mentioned that she wanted.to kill Ariana to me. According to her, Ariana had seen her and Damien kissing, so she thought, Ariana would run her mouth to you or Damien. She wanted me to be the killer but I refused. That was how I knew about her plans to kill Ariana and as I went there that night, it was happening as she had told me. I found Ariana lying with so much blood on her head. Thinking that she was dead, I took her body to one of my medical friends. Her pulse was there and it was discovered that she was still breathing. After Ariana was treated,

She whispered weakly and I smiled. “True, you didn’t want to be a part of this so I’m taking you out of it,” I whispered back. I ripped her head off so quickly she didn’t even have the time to process what was happening, the next thing was she was dead. “Good riddance,” Fred muttered behind me. “At least they don’t know who we are yet,” I muttered standing up from where her corpse lay. “We can’t be too sure of that. Ariana’s birthday is in a few days. The prophecy mustn’t be fulfilled. We need to kill her immediately.” He advised and I nodded.

"Not all women are like your mate." Cedric went still, and his face became hard. Darius knew that he had touched a nerve. "Tell me," Darius said. "What did you find." "The witch, my Alpha, is dead." Darius stopped. "Dead." "I followed her from the castle to the woods, and I was about to capture her when another mage shot her from behind. I saw her fall with my own eyes, and there was nothing else that I could do." Darius's jaw clenched. "She cannot be dead. If she is dead, then who will break the Luna's curse."

That was the only way to kill a witch. They heard a deafening shout, and then the witch finally died. They immediately burned her and watched the fire consume her whole body. As they watched it, Minerva felt dizzy. She grabbed her head and cried out in pain. They were all shocked and worried when they looked at her. Callister quickly caught his mate when he saw her fall. “Min!” Alicia shouted and approached her friend. She was in Callister’s arms. She was still screaming in pain and had difficulty breathing. Her chest was very sore and tight, and she couldn’t breathe properly.

"Dr. Harper, the organ procurement went very smoothly. We learned a lot from this dissection." They were still immersed in the excitement of their academic achievement. One of them even pulled out his phone to show her a recording. Soon, they all saw a small figure cut open on the operating table under the harsh white surgical lights. The camera slowly moved upward until it focused on the lifeless face. "Xavier!" Kyle lunged forward and snatched the phone away. The screen stayed on, so the recording continued to play. The buzzing roar of a bone saw echoed through the hallway.

Malachi said quietly. He flew through the pictures until he reached the one of Aria's body that was still chained to the table in the dungeon. Her arms were stretched above her, feet splayed on either side of the table, ankles in silver cuffs with short chains attached to the table. “You could say that she killed herself. She took a lethal dose of silver and wolves’ bane. She may have survived them both with treatment. But not the beating that she took with them both in her system. She couldn’t take it anymore. You refused to help her. She did the only thing she thought she could.”

ARIA'S POV Damon stops walking and faces me, looking like I've just insulted him. "Yes?" he repeats slowly. "You think I said yes?" "Didn't you?" I ask, my brows pulling together as I hold his stare. "No, Aria. I didn't." His jaw tightens. "I told her I would think about it." "Uh?" My jaw drops instantly because I didn't expect such a response from him, and for a moment, my mind drifts back to my previous life.
