"I need to go wash it now so that it doesn't get infected" she yelled out. She turned and ran to the emergency sink at the back of the lab. She turned the faucet on full blast, shoving her hand under the cold water as she hissed in pain. The water turned pink, washing away the evidence. She grabbed a handful of harsh, industrial soap, the kind that smelled like lemon and bleach, and scrubbed the wound violently.

Holly let go of Samantha's hair and dusted off her hands. Then, she walked to the sink and turned on the tap to clean her hands with some handwash. However, she felt they were still dirty even after washing them three times. Suddenly, Holly understood why Bryce would wash his hands when he punished Samantha. The stain wasn't gone but I could manage it and the foul smell subsided. I wrung the affected area to get rid of the excess water.
