A Luna For Alpha Caleb

A Luna For Alpha Caleb

I'm so pathetic at this size. I'm terrified of his reaction. I can sense Caleb's breathing turning slower, and I apprehensively lift my chin to look at him. The sight of him is truly mind-blowing. Caleb stares at me, and a long, shuddery breath leaves my lips. I have this wild, impulsive ball circling inside the pit of my stomach. Most people would call it nervosity—as much as I like Caleb, I'm also anxious about what his first words will be.

My Mob Husband

My Mob Husband

I took a deep breath, trying to push aside the doubts and fears that threatened to consume me. “Are you nervous, ma’am?” Arcel's voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back to the present moment. I glanced at her through the mirror, surprised by her observation. "Is it obvious?" I asked, trying to mask my nerves with a casual tone. She shook her head, a sympathetic smile on her lips. "Your expression doesn’t say you’re nervous, though. But the way you sigh again and again makes me think you’re, perhaps, nervous." A soft chuckle escaped my lips. "Yeah... probably, yes." Despite my attempt to downplay it, the truth was undeniable. The fluttering in my stomach and the persistent sighs were

DEAR EX-HUSBAND, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ME BACK

DEAR EX-HUSBAND, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ME BACK

My heart thudded, my throat tightening, my hands trembling with excitement, my jaw clenching as I leaned closer, my chest heaving with the urgency of her words, my heart racing with the hope that this was the break I needed. “Can you describe him?” I said, my voice urgent, my eyes blazing, my throat burning with anticipation, my chest aching with the need for details. “His face, anything—hair, build, clothes?” My heart pounded, my hands gripping the table, my jaw grinding as she shook her head, her eyes dropping, her voice low, her hesitation a blade that pierced my chest. “Just the back, maybe a side profile,” she said, her tone flat, her hands fidgeting, her heart guarded again.

Alpha Nate's Luna

Alpha Nate's Luna

Jittery and uncertain, I knew I needed to gather myself and move forward, but my mind was a whirlwind of anxious thoughts. Realization struck me like a lightning bolt—I had forgotten to bring a towel with me. Panic surged through my veins, and I let out a groan of frustration. How could I have overlooked such a basic necessity in my nervousness? The situation suddenly felt more daunting, and I wasn't certain how to navigate it. Taking a deep breath, I mustered the courage to take a few steps toward the edge of the door. I knew I had to ask for Nate's help, despite the embarrassment of my oversight. With trembling fingers, I reached out to open the door slightly, exposing myself to the outsid

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

The name given to cover my identity was secondary to the cause of my nervousness now. My heart raced as if it had a mind of its own, each beat quickening with the building anticipation. The thud in my chest echoed in my ears, a relentless drumroll of excitement that threatened to consume me. It was as if every nerve in my body was on high alert, waiting for that pivotal moment, that turning point that held the promise of something extraordinary.

Teen Drama

Teen Drama

I have become that kind of pathetic, and even I know it. “Whatever.” I cave like a coward and walk away, leaving the door open and returning to my bed to return to my previous position. I pick up my cushion, pull it to my lap as a focal point, and play with the tassels on the edge. Brimming with sudden nervous tension that has my muscles go tight. I cannot bring myself to watch him follow me while my heart has decided to dance the rhumba in my chest. My hands are instantly clammy, and I have to tap my foot awkwardly to regulate my breathing and obvious nerves.

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

I was surprised by his term of endearment yet my mind went back to what bothered it. “Hmm, nothing. I mean yeah. I mean, I don’t know,” I stuttered finding words to describe how I really feel. My body started to fidget, a sign that nervousness was taking over. His eyebrows creased as if he already knew what I was thinking. “Are you worried about telling our pack about...us?”

Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.

I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!

Entangled Sin

Entangled Sin

Rose gulped before occupying the space on the couch next to him on his right. She took another breath and wrote down what she wanted to say to him. She didn't want him to feel like he was being used all this time and she felt so ashamed everytime when she would think about it. She carefully wrote down each word as her heart pounded hard against her ribcage. She was nervous and sweaty as well. Her fingers around the pen were shaking and she was barely able to manage holding the pen still to do it's job.

Am starting to worry how Rose would feel when she knows Stephano is cheating on both her and Angeliue. The guys needs to get his acts together. I feel we're close to her knowing the whole truth. Am dying here for Rose and Azazel's wedding. That's when this story will really unfold.

YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

I retorted, “Send my men to confirm every location for a sign of Benita.” My mind was racing, thoughts spinning in every direction. I felt like I was on edge, my nerves stretched taut like a rubber band about to snap. Every little thing seemed to set me off, making my heart skip a beat and my palms sweaty. I couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty, like I was walking on thin ice, not knowing when it would crack beneath me. My thoughts were consumed by worst-case scenarios, my imagination running wild with all the things that could go wrong.

FATES DOESN'T ASK

FATES DOESN'T ASK

I murmured, I needed something to distract me tonight ,like my words weren’t even mine. I climbed out the window, shivering from the cool night air. Okay… just go. Don’t think. Just go. Walk. Calm down… Every step made my heart race, not just from excitement, but from nerves, fear of waking Mom or being raped,The streets felt alive, like the night itself knew what was coming.
