I had a date to attend. I combed my hair, noting that it was a little unruly since I had slept with it still wet yesterday. To tame it, I decided to put it in a french braid, starting on the left side of my head, wrapping around the back and spilling over my right shoulder in a loose, messy configuration of strawberry blonde hair.

I apply hair lotion as I go, watching her brown hair get silkier with every brush and stroke of my talented fingers. “Okay, I’m all done,” I say after a few minutes. They exchanged a few more words before hanging up, leaving Astrid with a smile and a sense of excitement for the date that awaited. ****** After a refreshing shower in her office bathroom, Astrid emerged with a renewed aura. I asked. " What should I do like hairstyle?" She asked. " Something different," I said. She agrees and invites me to sit down. She starts combing my dark brown hair. " Why do you like tying your hairs, you have beautiful hairs you know?" Ivy compliment me " I love it when my hair looks simple." " Um, am going to make a long braid on one side because in the middle is a little bit classic even if you like simple things." " You do as you feel"

I knew that my hair and makeup would take the most time, so I decided to tackle those next. For my hair, I decided to go with a simple but elegant updo. I gathered my hair into a sleek bun at the nape of my neck, using hairpins to secure it in place. I left a few tendrils of hair loose to frame my face, giving me a soft and romantic look.

And when I say anyone, I mean myself. Her lips, full and beautifully shaped are painted into a rich shade of red. Yeri’s midnight hair is gathered into a high ponytail, pulling and lifting her chin. The high placement of it accentuates the graceful lines of her neck and the delicate curve of her jaw. The rest of her hair cascades over her shoulder in soft, luxurious curls…it is as if each one is meticulously styled to fall in a way that appeared effortlessly elegant. They bounce lightly as she walks over to us and I cannot help but unravel more details of her.

Because apparently, that’s a thing. I blow-dry and straighten my hair, then braid it in a loose fishtail that starts at my left temple and trails down over my right shoulder. I don’t bother with makeup. I’ll just cry it off anyway, and I don’t want to arrive at Night Howlers looking like I’m trying to cosplay as someone older and cooler than I actually am.

As I got closer I realized that she was laying on the corner of her open sketchbook, the article of dresses I gave her laying open behind it. I wonder if she had chosen a dress that had piqued her liking. That question completely vanished as soon as I got a good look at what was drawn on the page of her sketchbook. She had drawn her own dress, which alone wouldn't really have surprised me, but she drew it from the front, back, and side angles. All of which were fit onto a mannequin that admittedly looked like her exact body shape. She had even drawn her hair tied up in a half pony-tail with a black ribbon.
