I asked him softly as my hand stroked his head down to the middle of his back in an attempt to comfort him. Little Hayden only started barking louder and louder. I looked around in confusion before looking where Little Hayden was looking; however, there was nothing there. “You’re not…” I mumbled before trialing off. I wasn’t certain of it at first but now I was sure that Little Hayden was barking while looking in the direction of the dark and isolated hallway that led to Harvey’s wing of the mansion. Winston's manic laugh followed me as I headed up the stairs, not sure where the hell I was going or if there was even any place to hide up here. I didn't take anything in as I bolted past the first couple of doors, only stopping long enough to open them and peek inside before deciding they weren't good places to hide. Taking a last look back at the disappearing ghosts I poked the flashlight through sheets of cobwebs and slowly stood up in silence.

There was no way I would be caught in any drama before I could even begin. “Three doors from your left; take that hallway and go down another four doors. That will be the ball room.” Dublin was in a small device in my ear feeding me the layout of the estate, making it look like I had been there multiple times. I had taken a black market scent blocker too, hiding my rogue smell; but I had my doubts if it was working all the way or not. One, two, three…huh… there wasn’t a fourth door, the hallway ending. “Uhh, Dub.. ya sure about four doors?” I whispered to him. I checked the other wall, seeing that there was only a picture of a wolf devouring humans.
