The Alpha of Wolf Creek
“Where is he, Angel? I want to meet the sonofabitch who thought he could take my woman.”
“He’s not here.”
“Oh, yeah? Where is he?” He stroked the firearm against my cheek. “Are you hiding him?”
“He went to Miami to get you to sign divorce papers, Frank.” I was surprisingly calm, never dropping my gaze.
“Well, isn’t that ironic,” he laughed, trailing the muzzle down my cheek, over my neck towards the valley between my breasts. “He just wasted his time, didn’t he, Angel?”
There was a loud crash from downstairs, which made me jump. Frank cursed. He grabbed the case with the money and pointed his gun at me. “Come on! Let’s get going.”
