The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

A rocking chair gently creaks near the roaring fireplace. It’s cozy. It smells like metal and herbs. Outside, the moonlight flickers through clouds, and it’s dark again. Snow begins to fall while I spend the rest of the night, and the first light of morning, running my fingers over the mask, trying to figure out why it feels incomplete. It doesn’t make any sense. A mask like this was incredibly hard to make, I believe. It would have taken an alchemist of tremendous skill to meld the pieces and inlay gems as thick as this. They would have used a forge, I think. They would have had to. Unless… whoever made this is as powerful as I am, apparently. I run my thumb over one of the thick prongs. Th

is someone stealing your books. I red a story almost identical to this a few weeks ago but I can't remember the name of it. The girl was running from a bad pack though and ran into the alpha who offered a proposal to her to be his breeder for protection. Everything else is identical

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

The Rip

The Rip

A circled note in the corner caught his eye: “BRASS = best conduit for demonic containment.” Gabe examined the idol’s halves. They were severely corroded, brittle, incomplete. Useless. But he knew what to do. He turned to his shelves—metal, tools, sculptures. One in particular stood out: a hexagonal world map he’d made with Joanne. He smiled. Then he pulled out a large sheet of brass. Hours passed. Gabe worked steadily, methodically—melting, shaping, reforging. The garage glowed with sparks and sweat. Slowly, the idol was reborn. Polished and whole.

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

Martin agreed and volunteered to drop it off after work on Wednesday. Martin was given be the chief blacksmith on the job as he bought the job in. He was given five apprentices to complete the job. He couldn’t stop grinning as he started the forge and worked on the chains. He used sandcasting to make each connecting link as Jack had ordered the phoenix to be on each link. The chains were a work of art on its own. This was JM brand insignia registered with the chamber of trade. No one could steal the pattern; even so Martin kept Jack’s miniature mold close to his person.

Evolve to Survive

Evolve to Survive

Elizabeth looks around and finds the torchlight shining on the dull color of the iron ores embedded in the cavern walls. “Iron?!” Her voice bounces off the cavern walls and it echoes past their area. “Oops. Sorry.” Bob throws a small object at Elizabeth. “Ow, hey.” Bob signs to her. ~Quiet. Noise attracts monsters.~ “I said I was sorry.” Elizabeth looks at David who has already walked towards an area with a lot of iron deposits. “So… how do we get these out? Don’t you need an iron pickaxe?” David nods. ~In modern times, high-quality iron pickaxes, or better, were used to chip off large amounts of metal from mountainsides. Unfortunately, we don’t have those types of tools so we’re going to ha

Immortal Era's Crafting Master

At the moment, he was thinking about how to design the fifth piece, the headpiece. Auden’s Blessing

Auden’s Blessing

“Not being able to find the drawings isn’t your fault—do you want to borrow mine for a look? Oh, right, there are annotations in Dwarvish on it. I’m afraid you might not understand them. And there are over sixty steps to making this staff—you probably won’t remember them all anyway.” “Let’s begin.” I stood up, poured the coolant into a beaker, then tossed the steel, magic stones, and Vanaheim gold straight into the furnace. “Nana!” the inlay craftsman cried anxiously. “If you throw everything in at once now, when it cools and you reheat it later, the materials will be ruined—” “Amateurs are always like this—just ignore her,” Kola said as she placed the steel into the furnace. She continued s

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

Meeting him today, Atlas realised that the legends of Hephaestus had not been exaggerated, but understated! "Hmmm. A stimulant isn't difficult to make. One only needs to understand the composition of the one one is making it for." Hephaestus mumbled and rubbed his chin. His words allowed Atlas to learn the name of the tool they intended to craft. "I will need a few days to prepare the materials. Luckily we don't require any overly rare minerals, and the ones we do require, I have an abundance of. You may have to stay here until the artefact is made. Then you can return."

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

Blobs of mercury slid over the powdered herbs as she had carefully poured it from the vail while covering her nose and mouth with her feathered sleeve. The other minerals she pounded with the hammer before grinding them into the consistency of coarse sand. Then she dropped in a pinch of falcon's teeth, a handful of glittering sunfish scales, the flyclubs, and a single phoenix feather (which they now realized was just a peacock's feather) snipped into pieces with scissors. Finally, with a brief pause for the ceremony, she pounded and ground the human tooth. "Can you come over here?" Vasilisa said and handed the pestle to Cassandra. "Stir widdershins."

The Journey Towards My Dream

The Journey Towards My Dream

Professor Oak walked out of the room followed by Lauren, they entered a storeroom as Professor Oak lifted a huge box, it was a little heavy so Lauren lifted it and brought it out. When he opened the huge box he saw a huge shiny metal plate which was shaped like a wide V with a small hole in the middle and a small spike on top of it, it looked like a trident with a small middle blade and two long ones on the side, Lauren figured it out seeing this, it was a metal armor for Gyarados's head which could be put on his horns and a place to keep the Mega stone, it had some mechanisms for adjusting its size too. Oak "I asked my friend who is an expert in handling tungsten to make this headpiece for
