Ugh. They say women's thoughts were hard to fathom, but she felt men's thoughts were even more unfathomable—deeper than the ocean floor. Maybe she should consider taking a course on understanding men. There were plenty of them now, with tutors teaching you how to analyze someone's thoughts based on their actions, expressions, and tone. She thought it might be worthwhile to delve into such courses. Once she mastered it, she could accurately decipher Chris' inner thoughts through his expressions and tone instead of being clueless and lost in her own speculations.

He was talking while I cut him off. "I'm not a man if you haven't noticed." He ignored my last statement, then keep on talking.
