Whispers Behind the Glass

Whispers Behind the Glass

a patient who had died just three weeks prior. He had barely known her. She was quiet, mid-thirties, admitted for schizophrenia and extreme audio hallucinations. She never spoke, only drew. He opened her file. There, inside, were pages and pages of symbols. The same ones. Adrien felt the chill ripple down his spine. ---

Keane

Keane

“Jesus, man.” I sat up abruptly in my chair as Keane burst through the door. He had that manic look in his eyes, the one he often had when he’d pinned his attention on something shiny and new. It was his schizophrenia kicking into high gear. He was fixating. “I met the new intake,” he said, crossing the room to light a joint. He took a huge hit and offered it to me. I took it, more interested in his story as it burned between my fingers.

But nothing about this gesture screams to be anything but…. Infact if I were to overlook the fact that my address wasn’t now public knowledge to God knows who I would have found this lovely gift of his moving and thoughtful… It still was! Fuck! I definitely should start panicking right? It’s the sane thing to do! But I guess I was never a sane author! None of my characters were anyway! Instead they mirror each and every one of my own dark desires! ITS A HE! It’s definitely a he!

I Quit Being a Stepmother

I Quit Being a Stepmother

A patient was doing sit-ups on the floor by the doorway of the room. Her hand slipped, and she nearly missed his head, which almost hit the ground. The patient froze, then looked up. Madison smiled. "Look at them. Everyone here is striving to be the sickest patient!" The middle-aged fitness enthusiast, who had been admitted for schizophrenia, was rendered speechless. Madison moved through the building. More patients were out wandering freely. She kept her umbrella open, using it to deftly fend off anything thrown at her while chatting with Greta.

Alpha's Hated Mate

Alpha's Hated Mate

I say. “Jinx was my imaginary friend as a child.” she responds with a faraway look. “She was you, you were Jinx. You created that personality because you didn't believe you could get into trouble so you would create her. Everyone played it innocent and let you play it out. It was harmless. We didn't think you had schizophrenia.” “I have schizophrenia?” “Not anymore.” The Doctor rules out with a smile. She nodded and bit on her lip. “So what happened to the baby?”

I guess Adrian will never know or get to meet his baby. I never thought I could dislike someone so much. I think it is a horrible thing to deny a parent of knowing about or seeing there child.and why do we not her anything from Adrian is he out of the story from her on out???

I do have a common for the author that I’m hoping I can get a clarification on. In the second to last chapter in Cheryl‘s point of view the story contradicts Mirabelle‘s point of view in the epilogue of what happened after the wedding.

Déjà Vu

Déjà Vu

I’ve heard that name from her many times before, but this is the first time that she told me that that Serene is also schizophrenic. “Really? Ano nangyari sa kan’ya?” She shrugged. “She’s damn depressed and she can’t admit it to herself. You know, nagkapatong-patong yung bigat ng loob niya. She decided to give up on her life. And while she’s planning to kill herself, an imaginary friend who contradicts her thoughts was made.” She smiled. “I even bought her book, Her Tranquility. Can you believe that one of the reasons that she’s depressed is that she can’t write the way she writes before? For her, writing is like breathing. If she can’t write, she feels like suffocating.” She heaved a deep s

Please, Restrain Yourself

Please, Restrain Yourself

His eyes were like a kicked puppy with lips pursed together tightly as if he was going to burst into tears at any second. Anna clicked her tongue in shock, just a minute ago he looked like the ice king himself, the change was too drastic for her to handle. Was he really the same person? Or was he suffering from schizophrenia like Liam and Charles? It’s like Liam was his switch, turning him from a cold, dominating presence into an obedient, yes-man. Wilson glared at Anna coldly, “Charles, bring me home please, I don’t want to stay there anymore. Without you there, I feel miserable.”

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

“And what was his angle? What condition did he want to fake?” Richie exhaled clearly uncomfortable from our eyes on him. “Schizophrenia. He had me giving him information about the symptoms, and coaching him on what to say and how to act in front of the prison doctors. He even refused to take certain medications to worsen his behavior.” I clenched my jaw. “And you were simply going along with this?”

One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

One Night Stand With The Unforgettable Stranger

Like Hesiod’s muse, Mason had inspired her and the character Hyde whispered to her, telling her his story, prompting her to write it down. It wasn’t unusual for Lisa to hear her character’s voice in her head, it was actually pretty normal for her, but she had never had an actual physical manifestation of a character before, not like Mason. He fascinated her and the character Hyde seemed like his alter-ego. Whenever she spent any time with Mason, she always came away inspired and although it was slower to happen this time, tonight had been no different. As she sat in front of her computer, words poured forth, her mind working almost too fast for her fingers to keep up. She added to her profil
