She gently tugged my sleeve, asking me to lean down closer to her when she whispered, “He’s so big. Is he nice?” I smiled down at her worried little face and said, “Yes, he’s very nice. I promise. Go and say hi, you’ll see.” She studied my face for a moment, looking for any signs of dishonesty. When she didn’t find any, she slid down from her seat and walked over to Xander. “Alpha Xander?” Xander looked down and smiled before he said, “Yes, Cutie?” “My name is Sophie, and I really like your Luna. Can I keep her?”

Next, it attacked the enemy wolf one after another, and that wolf almost ran out of places to go. I saw one of the gray wolf's paws slip through the hole in the wall. Even though I was struggling and felt like I would die walking, I went over to the gray wolf and hugged its paws to keep it from falling completely. As soon as I turned around, I heard a loud growl, and when I looked back, I saw the black wolf running toward me. He used his paws again to scratch the back of the black wolf, causing it to stop and lie down on the ground. When the sandy wolf jumped in front of me, it moved like a person, and so did the gray wolf, causing us both to fall entirely. Auntie Sol immediately grabbed the

“no way, she knows we are just friends Xavier” Xavier nodded his head in annoyance, then he continued, “you know, son, in matters of this pack, in being brave and fierce, you are perfect at that. But you just disappointed me today. He was right, so I had to do the right thing, I bent my head down to his knees and placed my hands on each of his feet, “it will not happen again, I promise.” He looked at me and smiled, "It’s fine, forget about that. Seeing the way, you messed around with Sazia, I can be sure you haven't found your mate yet" I turned and nodded my head,

“The guy I met last weekend — umm, what's his name again? Barry or maybe Larry, shit I can’t remember his name, but he just didn't do it for me—Maybe I just need to meet the right guy.” AWOOOO! A loud howl ripped through the silent night, startling the girls. The werewolf was pissed, how dare this Barry or Larry touched her. How dare he sampled what rightfully belonged to him. He told himself if he ever got his paws on this filthy guy, his head would roll, literally. It howled again, louder this time. “What the hell was that?” Katherine asked as she grabbed onto her friend.

I sense my mouth form an "O." "Sophie?" I turn back to my friend. "He's your mate? How is that possible?" As if in a flash, I inhale the air and only now pay attention, Sophie no longer smells like a human... she has the scent of a... "Lina, now I'm a wolf too," Sophie says with her head down. "What happened?" I ask, concerned and curious.

And just as he would yell, so did Sophie. "Okay! Okay! Get off me!" She screamed while struggling underneath my knee. When she got off the ground, I asked her, "Again?" Anna snickered a little. "Shut up Anna!" Sophie gave her a look with eyes as dark as night. Her wolf was trailing the surface. Sophie balled her fist and headed towards Anna. I quickly jumped in between them, shielding Anna with my body. I closed my eyes as I saw her claws coming towards my face.

It’s low and gruff, expectant that all who were in the woods now would come to respect their Goddess’ terms, human, half breed or werewolf. Zane’s howl could be heard for miles if he so chose to do it too, but this one seemed to stay put. The next to join in was the woman beside him, Candice, who had no business howling really, but she did.

He had a lot with him and Kiefer and I were already surrounded by them. He smiled at me. "I'm back to pick you up, Chloe" Darth said while his eyes flickering into the golden eyes. What's going on?

===== Freya Holloway POV ===== "Is this your first time?" His voice burns my ear. Deep. Rough. It makes my skin crawl. I don't answer. I can't. "Answer me." His hand grips my shoulder. Turns me around. "Look at me." I look up. His eyes glow gold in the dark room. Like a wolf watching prey. "I asked you a question." "Yes," I whisper. "It's my first time." He pauses. His jaw tightens. "There's still time to say no."

Why had Ellias not come back? Sophie’s chanting grew louder, the air around us heavier. My fur bristled, my claws dug into the ground. The smell of old herbs and rot burned my nose.
