Tyler hugs me like we’ve been best friends for years. Not in that stiff, polite way people do when they don’t know how to say goodbye—but full-bodied, tight-armed, chin-on-shoulder kind of hug. The kind that makes you close your eyes for a second and just breathe. “You text me,” he says, pulling back and gripping my arms. “The second you start spiraling or the second Jacob starts acting like a know-it-all Alpha with too many secrets.”

Davis. The only other thing that ever made me feel like I was in heaven like I do now was that hug we shared a long time ago. The hug that I call my heaven. I don't get many of those hugs anymore not so much recently because of everything that recently happened between us but hopefully many more of these heaven moments to come.

Lily was clutching her favorite stuffed bunny, her small fingers tracing over its worn-out ears. “Hmm,” Sienna mused dramatically, tapping her chin. “You know, Mr. Bunny looks like he has a secret.” Lily’s eyes flickered with interest. She tilted her head slightly, waiting. “Oh yes,” Sienna continued, lowering her voice to a whisper. “I heard him talking last night. He told me he loves to dance.” Lily blinked, her grip on the bunny tightening just a little. It was the smallest reaction, but to Sienna, it was progress.

That groggy voice defuses from behind me and I turn around with a twirl to see a scruffy and distraught Yohan leaning against the door frame and yawning lengthily. “You hibernating bear” I giggle, watching his exhausted expression change into an offended frown, his wavering orbs focusing on me tightly. Giggling my way to meet him, he pushes off the door frame and I ignore the unwelcoming look on his stoic face to put my arms around his torso, attempting a hug. “Heather….” He breathes stiffly and I smile goofily, I know you. Quit it already and hug me back. ‘You know it’s futile right?’ I link him and hear his defeated sigh permeating through, making me smile in triumph as he returns the hug.

His tone sounded mocking at first, but then it suddenly warmed, and I could tell he realized that he actually liked that idea. I propped myself up using the armrests and jumped off his lap, thankfully landing on my feet despite my usual clumsiness. I brushed off all the hurt I had been feeling over the past few days, and plastered a wide smile on my face. "Come on, I believe you are in need of some serious HAK." I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as I extended my hand out to him. "HAK?" he asked innocently. "Hugs And Kisses," I clarified as if this might have rang some sort of bell to him but to my dismay, he still looked confused.

He looks so handsome, how could somebody be this perfect? “Hey!” I say excitedly as I give him a hug. One thing I noticed about him is that he is quite a hugger. His hugs are awesome; they are warm and he has the ability to make you feel safe once he wraps his arms around you. I would never admit out loud that every time I see him, I get excited to receive one of his hugs. Is it weird that my mood gets a lot better the moment I see him? Why would that happen?

"Can I hug you? Will that hurt?" I shook my head slowly. "No!" I breath. "All I need right now is a hug." I spread my arms wide. "Please hug me Kate. I was so lost." I sniffed. Kate didn't question any further and pulled me for a hug. She was careful not to hit my shoulders while running her palm up and down my back gently, giving me a pat. I clenched my fists in her clothes, letting my nails sink deep into her skin. I know I'm not hurting her but I'd really love to mutate my skin in hers right now.

I slowly walk over to Jason and give him a sideways hug. "You call that a hug sweety?!!" I hear Jared laughing and mocking me, " Squeeze the life out of that motherf.. - I mean Jason…". I look over to Jason again , and I see him with arms stretched out. I jump on him like I did Jared , but this hug - it felt different. Jared hug was bubbly , giggly and playful - Jason's hug was intimate , filled with love and passion. It felt as if it had been hours that he had been hugging but honestly it was merely seconds.
