Hunter hollered, his voice thundering across the field. He was pissed and I don’t know why, but the thought pleased me. I looked back over at Kyra, who had ignored Hunter and threw a blast of energy and fire fuzed together, at Rex. It hit him with enough force he was thrown back and went through the side of the storage building. She hit me with that same attack earlier, but it hadn’t been that hard.

Taking his hand, he gently helped her to her feet just as Cal arrived back with Liam's cloak and a few satchels. "As I said before, Caliana Raine, will be this years Hunter Apprentice. If they have a problem with it, they will answer to me." Caliana was too shocked to respond as Liam draped his cloak over her shoulder, guiding her back to the group of Hunters waiting with their horses.

They fell onto their knees and grimaced in pain. Kaze looked at the angry pair and asked with a smile, “Didn’t you want to make me kneel and beat me up?” “I’d rather die than be insulted. Just kill him.” Jackal pulled out a bayonet to slit Hunter’s throat with. “Hold on!” Hunter yelled and put his hands up to slap himself. He smacked both sides of his cheeks.

...Sienna POV... This had to be it. The end was near. I could feel it. I was practically begging for my end to come. It had been at least two days since Hunter attacked me and left me here to die. I knew Hunter's reputation. He was the formidable Reaper. People rarely survived his wrath. Rather, he was given the reputation of the Reaper because of his merciless actions toward his victims.

He continued,"Since this is a Luna task, Alpha Hunter is not allowed to lend you any help in killing or hunting the buffalo. You alone should kill them," I swallowed hard, but Hunter pulled my hand and gave me an assuring smile, then he whispered,"Don't worry.
