"You look like a stuck pig, Kaelor." Lucian’s voice echoed off the damp stone walls of the Hive’s central altar. He wasn't looking at his brother. He was busy testing the edge of the Lunar Dagger against his thumb. A bead of purple blood welled up. He licked it off. "Don't... touch him." Kaelor’s voice was a wet rattle. He was slumped against a pillar, his legs splayed out. His eyes were bloodshot, tracking Lucian with a desperate, sluggish hatred.

Hunter hollered, his voice thundering across the field. He was pissed and I don’t know why, but the thought pleased me. I looked back over at Kyra, who had ignored Hunter and threw a blast of energy and fire fuzed together, at Rex. It hit him with enough force he was thrown back and went through the side of the storage building. She hit me with that same attack earlier, but it hadn’t been that hard.

Aiden's voice cut through Ethan's and Ryan's argument. Aiden had on a slight frown and a man stood behind him holding a flashy camera. "Ethan was being silly as usual," Ryan stated and glanced at Ethan with a small smirk. "I was not--I mean, I'm not silly!" Ethan growled at him. Aiden waved them off and turned to the man. "This is Mr Fu Ling, he's the Hero leagues' photographer. His job is to take pictures of Squads that just entered E-rank," Aiden said and gestured to the man.

I asked the man, assuming he was the leader of the small pack. “Killian.” He spoke quickly. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Killian. I am…” I started but was cut off by his abrupt interruption. “I know who you are. You are Kyra, the Luna of Night Blaze, and the future Moon Goddess.” Killian spoke.

Khloe was looking at the expression on his face and when she said she heard voices, she saw that it made Lucian flinch with anger, he was not at all happy to hear that. "What voices?" he asked. "Nothing," Khloe looked away not daring to meet his gaze any longer.
