Emboldened by their support, Lin turned back to The Reaper. "We're ready. Begin the ritual." The Reaper, with a sinister grin, started a haunting chant. The pack joined in, the eerie melody echoing through the night. As the ritual progressed, Lin felt a surge of energy, a connection forming between her and the pack. It was a delicate dance of trust and unity, and every member played a crucial role.

It crackled, purple and white, blooming across the sky like blood. I felt like a child, lost in a world I didn’t understand. If anyone was to enter the pack land with their eyes blindfolded, the person could have never guessed that the area was filled with thousands of wolves, vampires, dragons, fairies, elves, witches, shifters, hybrids and what not. Pin drop silence prevailed as only the harmonies of the instruments reverberated in the entire pack land and every person stood spellbound even before the first line of the song had begun ! Jax looked at his mate lovingly from above and smiled before wrapping his long, perfectly shaped fingers on the mike and closed his eyes gently as he sung the first line of the song with sincere and raw emotion, straight from his heart ! I turn off the live stream and let Hunter finish his song for me. Then I see Arlo in the distance, and the world goes quiet. But, seeing him in real life again makes me feel panicky, the way Rosa gets for Jeremiah. Arlo walks towards me as Hunter begins another speech, "Ladies and gents, for our final song. But, first, I will sing our newest song, called Tidal Wave."

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest.
