Princess of Death

Princess of Death

Lya sighed and fell flat on the bed, stretching and staring up at the velvet cloth that draped over Aynyra’s crimson bedding. “I definitely did not eavesdrop, although I did notice my favourite red gown is missing. I was going to wear it today but it wasn’t there. I thought the servants came and took it to clean.” Aynyra looked down at the book in her hands to mention the title as further proof but found the text upside down. She quickly flipped the book and scanned the title, “A lover’s rise.” She grinned at her friend.

Billionaire Boss? Nah, Just A Possessive Husband!

Billionaire Boss? Nah, Just A Possessive Husband!

Hyacinth was composed and engaged and asked the Frankfurt director questions that impressed him visibly, and I thought, not for the first time, that she had wasted years being someone’s secret wife when she could have been doing this. When the director excused himself to take a call, we were briefly alone. Kai had developed a sudden intense interest in the wine list at the far end of the table. Hyacinth looked at her water glass. I looked at her. She knew I was looking. She continued to look at the water glass. This was the third time today she had done this – found somewhere else to direct her attention at the precise moment when there was only the two of us and the space between us where a

The Almighty Dragon General

Thea arched an eyebrow and replied with amusement, “My, now that you’re older, your bluster has grown worse. It appears you’ve failed to douse the flames within.” Enraged, Hyacinth thrust her head into the void and summoned colossal phantom palms. With a resounding crash, the sky filled with numerous phantom palms directed toward Thea’s purple-red lotus from all directions. Unexpectedly, the phantom palms were effortlessly absorbed into the lotus upon contact, vanishing without a trace. Hyacinth exclaimed in disbelief, “You…you’ve inherited Taishi’s powers? I’ve underestimated you.” “I’m sure you must be tired by now. My turn.” Thea flashed an indifferent smile and extended her arms, effortl

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

The Hybrid's War: Book 2

The Hybrid's War: Book 2

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. One charged at me and right when I thought life was over for me, the gunshots came right after him. Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! However, those shots were not enough… -To Be Continued- The End of Book 2

" okay, great. So, I'll be needing your Facebook or Instagram handle. " " oh, it's Freya Forsythe. Facebook. " "okay. I'd get a way to contact you from there." "I'm leaving." Lyle said. He could no longer take any of these, and he also couldn't walk up to her, and forcefully take her away from the strange guy she was talking to. " what's up with you?" Byron asked. He saw how uneasy Lyle was feeling. "nothing, I just wanna leave, before I do something I might regret."

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

I didn’t belong to this Kingdom or any Clowder, so when the warning came, I was the last to know. I was sitting in the room I had been given for the duration of my stay, reading a book that had caught my eye from the large library, when the sounds of screams reached my ears. The windows were open because the heat down here could be stifling and there was a light breeze that cooled the air. I jumped from my sitting position, ran to my door, and flung it open, stepping onto the balcony that overlooked the main hall, and looking down. Men and women were scrambling, some running for the door, others stopping to look around. I spotted Crimson.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Night Shift English Version

Night Shift English Version

I don't want to be dragged back into the misery of yesterday. All I want is to start again with Yhra in a new life. I'll give him the opportunity to feel everything he hasn't felt yet. Every second will be memorable because I will make it so. I walked up to the pool, picked up the tiny box, and then walked back to the pool to finish my work. I give her a kind grin and grasp Yhra's hand. I take the necklace out of the box and display it to her, telling her it was purchased on my previous trip to Paris.

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

she said softly. I said nothing. Just took it and drank. Wine and silence filled the room. One glass became two, then three. I didn't even notice when my thoughts drifted away completely. Dane called for the servants to carry me to my chambers. I was half-aware of her voice, her perfume, familiar but unwanted. When the doors closed behind us and she dismissed everyone, I realized we were alone. I didn't stop her when she pushed me down. Didn't react as her hands slid over my chest, her clothes falling away piece by piece. My head was foggy, my limbs heavy but my instincts those primal, lycan instincts responded to her closeness.
