I turn to Kade, jabbing a finger in his general direction, “you’re sober. Get a grip. At least she’s wine-drunk. You have zero excuse. Kade smirks, stepping back with deliberate slowness, like letting her go physically hurts him. It probably does. “She wanted a tour of the house,” he says innocently. “Of the dryer drum?! What are you, a Maytag repairman?” Henry’s trying so hard not to laugh he looks like he might pop a blood vessel. Aria swings her leg off and stumbles slightly as she hops down, looking entirely too pleased with herself. “We were just… multitasking.”

Selene said, I kissed her to shut her up; the second I pulled away, I grabbed her face and smiled, “That was incredible!” I told her, “You really are a powerful witch.” Amber said, “A powerful witch with little control.” Grandfather told her, I stared at him for a moment, “What do you mean?” I asked, he sat us all down as he began to explain, “A half blood witch isn’t too powerful, but still enough to be a little scared of. A full blooded witch, if terrifying and is definitely someone to fear. But a hybrid,” he looked at Selene, “There’s never been a hybrid witch of all three: a werewolf, a vampire, and a witch. Not to mention having witches in both bloodlines.”

Aria let out a breath before walking past everyone, mumbling apologies here and there, as she walked past their large bodies Aria was 5'5 which was quite small for a woman her age, but she loved it. She walked into her lecture for today which was English, mumbling a little greeting to the Teacher. Aria sat in the middle row, so she could get assets to the board well. With that, the teacher closed the door as the last student walked in. Aria’s POV I swirled the glass vial in my hand, watching as the pale amber liquid coated the sides before settling again. The scent profile still wasn’t quite right, but I was close—so close I could almost taste it. The Velvet Vibe lab was quiet except for the soft hum of the air filtration system and the occasional clink of bottles as I worked. I exhaled, rolling my shoulders. “We’re going to top that stolen series, Aria.” I glanced up to see Jessica grinning at me from across the workstation, her dark eyes gleaming with determination. She leaned against the counter, arms crossed, watching me with confidence that I wasn’t sure I fully shared yet.

Aria sits up, her eyes wide with excitement. “You would really let me use it?” she asks. “Of course.” I stand and send a quick mind link to one of the second years that serve me. Moments later, a young girl appears with a cordless phone and moves towards Aria. Aria’s eyes glisten as she takes it. “Thank you,” she says softly. “Not a problem, beautiful.” I force a grin, hiding the way her words affect me. Her words were so filled with gratitude it made me feel kind of embarrassed….what is happening?

The street exploded into chaos. Hybrids surged forward. Wolves lunged to intercept. Power clashed violently, cracking pavement and shattering windows. Luca moved like a force of nature, commanding and striking with lethal precision. Aria stayed close, instinctively shielding civilians as blasts of energy tore through the night. She felt herself changing with every breath. Stronger. Faster. More aware. A hybrid lunged toward a child frozen in fear. Aria reacted without thinking. She reached out. The world seemed to pause. Power flowed from her hands, controlled and precise, forming a barrier that stopped the attack cold. The hybrid slammed into it and collapsed unconscious.

"Do you think you would've recognized him if you saw him?" Ara shook her head. "I'm unsure. Why am I here? This is clearly a psychiatric intensive-care unit. Am I mad? Have I hurt anyone?" Karee finally met her eye. "For your own good I think it's best I speak with your family first. Can you help me contact them?" "Sure," Ara replied. "BRAN, she's not well," Karee Deusdado said to Bran Quejado, her former university classmate in college who is a detective now. He's the top agent of the team deployed to raid the Hildred's human trafficking.

turning to see Kiara still standing in a towel now with her jaw wide open. I smiled and thought about how I wanted to rip that towel off of her, “maybe you should get dressed ” I said to Kiara, she smiled and blushed then made her way to the walk in closet. Which reminded me I needed to take her shopping so she could have clothes to fill that big closet up. I turned back to look at Viviana. She looked like she was contemplating something. “you know if my parents found out I found my fated mate and he’s a wear wolf, they would disown me. Not after trying everything in their power to pull me away from him first. They don’t believe we should blend our species together and taint the witch blood

Almost graceful. But behind it was something… cold. I turned around slowly—and found myself staring at a woman with fair skin, bright amber-brown eyes, and a sharp, elegant face. She was beautiful. But not familiar. Still, something about her felt familiar. “Sister’s husband?” I repeated, confused. She smiled gently—but it didn’t reach her eyes. “I’m Jessica. Adrian’s future wife,” she said. “And my sister… is Aria."
