Tristen observed them closely as they stood in the clearing. A hound-wolf hybrid would be a perfect fit to describe them literally. Massive and intimidating creatures, standing taller than an average wolf but heavier and broader. Their fur a mix of long, shaggy hair and thick, wolf-like fur, providing excellent insulation against the cold of the mountains where they came from. Pure blooded species were given their own multiverse realm so it wasn’t that much of a problem, the only issue at hand was hybrids. Hybrids are species who are usually half human and half another species. The species could be anything – vampire, werewolf, demons, angels, mages and even species of beasts. The hybrids posed a problem because depending on the combination of hybrids (vampire werewolf hybrid was an extremely strong combination compared to something like human werewolf) they could be seen as a threat to the current realm that they lived in and if they continued breeding then they would produce an extremely powerful species clan that could take over the realm.
