Scouts moved along the fence, rifles slung carelessly, confident that nothing would happen today.
Luca came to his side, elbows brushing as he scanned the scene. “You sure about this?” he asked softly.
Ghost didn’t answer immediately. He felt the warmth of Luca’s body, the subtle shift in tension when they were near each other. He took a deep breath. “We don’t wait for certainty,” he said finally. “We act with precision. That’s what keeps us alive.”
Luca nodded, gripping his rifle tighter. “Precision. Got it.”
They laid out the plan quickly. Troy and Rhino would cover the northern wall, Bishop the southern.
