They swear that they had been working tirelessly to bring my son home but I do not know if I believe anyone. His clothes, the one he wore the day before his disappearance stays warm in my hand. I take a whiff of his scent and then get frustrated at myself for not being able to hold his scent in my nose. I am a werewolf but a useless one. I am a werewolf but a cursed one who has never been able to turn. A lying cursed wolf who has had to fake being a real werewolf every full moon by hiding away while everyone else turns to their wolf form.

She didn’t say anything, just looked into me. “I can start… I don’t think you’re able to sense-,” I sucked in a breath, willing my babbling to stop, afraid she would reject me, “I’m a werewolf.” She scrunched her face. “Werewolf?” She smiled, like I had told her a joke. She doesn’t like wolves? Dane asked and whined.

I stared in disbelief at the transformed figure before me, my wolf instincts temporarily overshadowed by a mix of surprise and confusion. I took a step back, my growls subsiding, and mustered the words that tumbled from my bewildered mind. "Are you... a vampire?" I asked, my voice laced with uncertainty. The young werewolf, now known as Zack, shook his head emphatically. "No, I'm not a vampire. I'm like you, a werewolf. My name is Zack." Werewolf? The revelation echoed in my mind, colliding with my preconceived notions.

Calvin sigh as he look at Kris, who is still looking at me. "We're a werewolf." Kris said in monotonous tone. Werewolf? I cock my brows at them. "We're not mafia, I am not from a rehab and defiantly not from mental disability. But, I am a werewolf." He stated, looking straight to my eyes. One ... Two... Three ... I burst into a fit of laughter. "Oh! And I'm a banshee! Are you Scott McCall or Derek Hale?! I didn't know you like that show!" I laugh hysterically, clutching my stomach.

But I do know one thing. I’m not just a werewolf anymore. I’m something else.

I’m not that person. And do I even want to be the Luna of one of the world's largest werewolf packs? Do I want to be Raiden’s mate?

T for thanks. I felt bad for doubting him ever; he seems genuine and does everything willingly without any ounce of arrogance. "How are you sure I fit in any of these categories?" I haven’t even shifted yet. For all we know, I’m not even a real werewolf.” She stood now too. “You don’t have to be all those things to be his mate.”

Luckily, we are at a party. Unnoticed, they vanished out from our side. Oh shit! I couldn't feel any tears in my eyes as if there were no more water to cry out. "Don't tell me you are going to cry from that, Dreanna? You don't even know them." "Huh?" Now, what is this guy spattering? Is he having a crack on his head? Why I couldn't read him. He changed from a total sweetheart to a deadass insensitive man. "I told you, I am Erina!" I argued.

I sighed, “At least we don’t owe anyone anything. It’s just you and me. No one would harm us there. No dad, no stepmom, and no other strange person.” She paused and stared at me, “Why escape when they treat us better here? Then I remembered what I needed to clarify. “You know that Alpha…Ace aunt? He is saying that I am a werewolf? And I am his mate? I think they are delusion-“ Aunt tilted her head to the side. “Why? We are…one of them…a werewolf.” I blinked, “Wechat? Me included?” I thought aunt is already healed up yet she’s here, agreeing with them.
