Marc said, softly, as he entered the room with my dinner in hand.
“Why do you have a video of my parent’s death?” I asked accusingly. “That’s sick!”
“I agree,” he said as he set my plate of aromatic food on the coffee table in front of me. “Unfortunately, I’m required to keep it.”
“By whom?” I demanded.
“By the people,” he replied.
“They’re pretty sick people,” I said as I stood and paced the floor. “I want you to throw that away.”
