Valentine's Vows; Love, Lies And A Fake Engagement

Valentine's Vows; Love, Lies And A Fake Engagement

Applause filled the air as I finally stepped forward to address the already expectant crowd. "Thank you all," I started, though my voice kept breaking because I couldn't stop crying. "This orphanage isn't just a building; it's a sanctuary where no child will ever feel alone. It is Cavillton's home for children. I can't do this alone, so I solicit your support and help to see that children all over the state have somewhere they call home." Instinctively, I darted my eyes to my father who sat in the front row. His expression was unreadable, was it pride? Or gratitude? Or was it something else entirely

Housekeeper For My Hot Professor

Housekeeper For My Hot Professor

I groaned as I dropped the files in my hands angrily, but my phone blared with a call, and I picked it up only to realize I had one more thing on my schedule, so I rushed out of the office. “This is–home!” I breathed, as I looked at the orphanage home that housed me for years. It was still in his glory, which I guessed all the donations had been put to good use for. I had planned to visit the orphanage over the years because of some children that I was close to, but I wasn't opportune, so I made sure to always make donations every month from my income.

"I'm good. I'm sorry that I couldn't remember you. I guess it's because I haven't seen you in so long." "It's alright. When I heard that you're running a foster care, I felt really happy for you. Not many do this but you took it in your hands. What made you run this foster care?" "You know about the orphanage where we grew up, like me many didn't get what they wanted. I wanted to change that so I ended up opening one. To be honest, I'm so happy to be running this foster care. It feels more like a home to me." "Glad to hear that. I hope we can reconnect later today. but right now i've got to go back. the others are waiting for me."

Married To My Triplet Alpha

I asked back, the hint of a playful smile on my face. Melanie walked ahead of me and turned to walk backward, looking at me. “You do know that they might not come into the orphanage, right?” I shrugged, “If they don't, then maybe they don't care about this place as much as I thought.” I said this honestly. If they didn't inspect the work that has been done around here, I would guess that the orphanage was just another project that rich people did to fulfill their quota to society. It didn't mean much to them but it would look good.

I said finally. "Because it's not a big deal!" she said with a smile. "I'm actually really fine with how things in my life are. My family owns the local orphanage and so we donate a lot of what we have to help support the children in our care." It was probably the most goodwill life story I'd ever heard. It only made me want to protect Myra even more and never let anything ever hurt her. She was too precious for this world. "That's really incredible of you and your family to do that," I said.

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

The Forgotten Heiress

The Forgotten Heiress

I kept looking around, desperately hoping there was a memory somewhere inside my head trying to come back. Something.Anything.But nothing came. I pressed my fingers against my temple. Think. Did my parents own an orphanage? My parents had always been known for charity. Everyone knew that. The Mallways attended charity events. My parents donated to different organisations. They supported schools, hospitals, and Children’s foundations. Helping people had always been a huge part of who they were. So the idea of them owning or supporting an orphanage wasn’t exactly impossible. Honestly, I wouldn’t even be surprised. But it had been sixteen years.

Lucifer Found His Angel

Lucifer Found His Angel

He said and I scoffed. "Who is successful? Her bank balance is just two thousand Euros." I said and he took his phone out and showed it to me. It had an orphanage picture. "This orphanage is the biggest one in the area. It has around a thousand orphans and no one gives them any donations" He said and I was confused. "How is that possible? How is it even working without that?" I asked and he showed me a picture where Arina was playing with some kids in the same orphanage. What is she doing there?

THE ALPHA KING'S CLAIM

THE ALPHA KING'S CLAIM

“If you’re saying I carry his children then I’m out.” Don’t get me wrong, I love children. I even volunteered to work in a nearby orphanage house to take care of the orphans once a week after my day job. I just didn’t like the idea of spreading my legs in exchange for a favor. That’s just downright immoral. I wouldn’t stoop that low even if it meant I wouldn’t be able to return to my world and be stranded in this God-damned realm.

Empress Wolfe
Easily one of my fave fantasy reads. The character development of the ML is just *chef's kiss* The plot, the setting, the characters... Everything about this story pulled me right in. I'm really looking forward to reading Lord Hale's and the triplets' story! Keep up the good work!

I originally read this one on a different reading app and absolutely LOVED it! By far, still one of my favorite stories. I re-read it on here. Not like all of the other same story line shifter stories.

Mine - her hazel eyes under my possession

Mine - her hazel eyes under my possession

I said. "We ran off from the orphanage, I was 11 at that time. We ran off because, it was a filthy place and I wanted to explore the world, to have my own family, to have my children and give them what I couldn't have. So we ran off. We spend most of our nights on the street or under the bridge or some dirty ally. We used feed on scraps" He said and looked at me before continuing. He looked at the carpet while speaking as if reliving the memories.

Never Say Goodbye

Never Say Goodbye

I'd G****e searched the orphanage to see if it was still in existence and I was surprised by everything I'd read. It is now the best non governmental organization in the country due to donations received from Emerson Cruz Group. It caters to the needs of the homeless, orphans and single pregnant women who don't have money to take care of themselves. "I do know this place." The man grins at me. "I grew up there." "Really?" I stare at him in surprise. I try to recollect if I'd ever seen his face at the orphanage but I come up short. "That's um... nice."
