I Hear The Angels Cry Novels & Stories

I feel blood oozing from somewhere behind my head too, and my head starts pounding. Somewhere in the crowd of people surrounding me, I spot Angel crying and running to me. I close my eyes and spread my hands on the floor to welcome her, but I don't feel her running into my arms like she always does. I don't even hear her cries anymore. My body gives up on the pain and fear. I hear nothing but silence. I see nothing but darkness. I fall unconscious.

Angela is standing in a tomb. He keeps a bouquet of flowers on top of the grave. "Hello, maam!" Angela exclaimed, staring at the tombstone with her mother's name on it. Angela shed tears. I don't know how long he will be like this. "Mother always taught me to be strong and tough. My mother always told me that angels are not crybabies and are always strong. The angel never held grudges or hurt others. But Mom, I'm not an angel. My name is Angel, but I don't have the qualities that angels have. Mother, I never hurt others, but why do they always hurt me, Mom? I don't want to be a crybaby, but this wound hurts so much that I feel like crying and screaming." Royal cut in and walked out of the class. Angel bit her lips hardly trying not to cry as she also left the class,she sniffs and turned to the direction leading to the dressing room. "Twinkle" she heard Christian's voice and stopped walking without looking back,Christian ran to her and came in front of her. "Are you Okay?" He touched her face and a tear dropped from Angel's eyes. Christian said nothing and just pulled her into a soft hug. "Angels don't cry" He muttered,patting her back until she was calm.

Seth? He gestured toward the car. "He wants to see you. Now." I took a step back instinctively, shaking my head. "No… no, I can't. I don’t even know him that well. Why would he want to see me?" The man's expression softened slightly. "He said you’d say that. He also said to tell you that his niece, Angel, hasn't eaten since you left." The world seemed to tilt under me. "What?" They heard clicking sounds before the angel statue slide aside with the wall behind it, revealing a stair leading somewhere down. None of them was able to react for a full minute. Their eyes just kept shifting back forth from each other, both riddled with confusion. "What is this place?" Ethan exclaimed while scanning the spacious room that is filled with all kinds of weird stuff. "I have never seen these things before in my life." Andra stated with astonishment.

I don't care what happens to me. Just let my baby live. A few moments later, another loud crash echoed beside me. Someone slammed against the window next to me. Through my fading vision, I saw blurred figures running toward the car. Then the door beside me was yanked open. "Angela..." The voice was distant. But I knew it. I forced my eyes open. The face slowly came into focus. Aaron? No. That couldn't be. I had to be hallucinating. "Stay with me." The voice came again.

I finally knew why I could hear the baby’s whisper! I finally found a way to change my life path and to survive!

"Lily’s POV: Meanwhile, downstairs was bustling with activity. Angel had heard her mother’s voice earlier and waited in vain for her to come pick her up. Unwilling to accept being ignored, she began to cry. The little girl cried with a sense of injustice, her soft, babyish voice making “wah-wah” sounds. Her crying was sweet, but the tears rolling down her cheeks were rather large. This was genuine crying. My heart ached. I rocked Angel back and forth in the living room, but no matter how hard I tried to comfort her, the crying wouldn’t stop.
