All I can think about is the fact that my life is officially over. My life sucks.

I stood there for hours, praying to die. Until my neighbor, Mr. Collins, came in the morning to look for Jack. I don't remember exactly what happened. I remember waking up the next day in the hospital. I hated the fact that I was still alive and Jack didn't. I wanted to die more than anything. They had killed my whole life. One shot changed everything. One night changed my life completely. It took more than 6 months before I was able to shake off the incident. I had nightmares every night.

“Elora! I can’t believe this—” “How are you alive?” I blurt out, and immediately, hysteria starts to climb up my throat. “How are you alive? What’s happening? Why am I here?” Fake. This has to be all fake. I refuse to believe that this is not a hallucination that my brain is coming up with to maybe give me a good feeling before I truly pass away. This is too surreal.

I kept growling and crying out loud till i watched the wench leave my house like a leper. The pain I had been feeling for years is spreading now like a cancer, to consume me when it becomes an overflow in my soul. Each passing day wasn't getting any better. My life is on the edge and it's so hellish a feeling to know that your death is pretty imminent and to know that you're going to die in the worst of all ways. Dying in the face of someone who is supposed to protect you, someone who is supposed to love you but instead, the view of you dying gives them so much mirth.

"D-Daddy!! Ouch! Ohhhh!!" I want to pass out right now. The pain that I felt right now is unbearable. More like I was fucked in the hole with wood with open nails on it. His pills added the burden I feel. Inside me were like exploding thousand volts of pain as it indulged deep done in my bones. Can someone end me please? Like, kill me right now. If living is the same as dying then I'd rather die than to live doubling up the said death. I bit my lower lip as I continued to cry. I felt extremely hopeless right now.

Her expressions were neutral, with no sign of pain or regret at this point. She couldn’t endure this pain now and felt like it was better to end it forever. There seemed to be no reason to live on for. No person to be happy for. No one wanted her or would be sad if she died.

These questions flood into my mind like a broken dam with lots of water. “No! No, no, no!” I yell as I reel in denial. “I can’t be dead! My legs nearly fail to keep me upright. I'm going to die tonight. I swear I won't make it till tomorrow. I will die!
