It’s been one month since Judy is trying to get a stable job, keep submitting her applications, joining interviews but as usual not selected, now it’s getting unbearable. I scanned every restaurant and bar I could find. Maybe I could have the crumbs at the end of my shift but it was proving very difficult because I had zero experience, no degree, and neither was I a very lucky person. It was tough luck for me because I was getting to eighteen with nothing to show that I had lived.

I apply for the three of them and now it is a waiting game to see if I’ll receive a phone call for an interview.

The fear of failing to get a job continued to hurl me inside me, sprouting into my consciousness. As long as that job doesn't require stepping my foot into Braden's mansion I'll take it, to hell with him and his money. I arranged my sunshades and hat before ambling my way towards the ever busy streets. My eyes scrutinized every mall, restaurant and shop, searching for the word 'Vacancy' There must atleast be one of them who needed a new worker. The whole city would defintely not be void of vacancy. One way or the other, I must find a vacancy sign. I need this money fast. And that means I'll have to search faster and harder before getting home.

I could feel myself getting sick just by remaining in that environment but I didn’t have another choice. I knew I needed to get a job no matter how little the pay was before I got kicked out to the street. I pushed the door open and walked over to the counter squeezing a file that held my CV to my chest. “Welcome how may I help you” an attendant asked typing on a computer ready to take my order “I am here for the job interview” I didn’t know why I did that because there was no vacancy advertisement talk more or an interview but I had to go on with it and hope for the best.

I said. “Finish your dinner, first. I will send someone to look for it,” father said, and I nodded once. “So how is your job hunt going on?” Willa asked. “I have looked for a few corporate jobs, but they all need a few years’ experience. Maybe I will have to start small, gain a few years’ experience and then look for higher paying jobs,” I said. “If you want, I can hire you as my secretary,” Reese said, and I glared at him.

"You will, but not for long. All you need to do now is get a job. There are a lot of places to try. You might also find our mate in one of those places." At the thought of finding her mate, Sassy's eyes lit up. "Okay, that's a great idea. I wonder why it never occurred to me before. But who would want to employ me? I have just a high school certificate." Sassy complained again. "Well, that might be a problem. But, you wouldn't know until you try." Sage said. "Well, I'll have to try all the mini supermarkets, gas stations, ice cream stores, schools.. no, not schools, electric stores and everything. That's going to be so hard!" Sassy complained.
