I Read It In A Book Novels & Stories

I stared down at the book in Jason’s hand. A wave of familiarity came over me, followed by confusion. I’ve seen that book before, a long while ago in Philly. It was the one that Jason forbade me not to read, so why was it here now? I didn’t think that it would play a big role in whatever ordeal we were having here, yet the intrigue and curiosity I had wasn’t quenched.

I murmured softly, the words rolling off my tongue as I carefully pulled the book from its place. Its weight settled comfortably in my hands as I opened it, curiosity leading me deeper into its pages.
