I Read It In A Book Novels & Stories

Everything else in the movie was just over the top for me. I sit back and open the book. With the book in hand and some music playing in the background I was soon transported into my own world. I don't know why, but as soon as I picked up a book to start reading, the whole world around me can go up in flames and I would not even realize it. This is why my mom banned me from reading at home.

If there was a way to fix this, I was certain that it would be written somewhere. This wouldn’t be the first time an alpha has killed another. When I stepped into the room, I was struck by a scent that my lungs had become familiar with. It was faint but still strong. My feet moved, letting the scent lead me to where it was stronger. I stood by the shelf, my eyes taking in the book as I tried to figure out what it was that I was seeing. The dusty shelf looked like it had been tampered with, a clean spot. “A book,” I muttered, trying to find what wasn’t in the right place. And I did, stuck in the corner, a book that shouldn’t be out of the shelf.

I just realized Oh my God, this is my room! I took my hand over my mouth with a shocked expression on my face. Two Hours Later... “Done, I love that book. I can read a thousand times and not get tired of it.” I said no partially. Okay, Avery, I started reading a book called Fear Me” Oh, boy I can feel my insides tingle when I open the book. Three More Hours Later...

The next morning, I had the displeasure of the sun’s rays shining straight into my eyes. My eyes burned from lack of sleep. That stupid book kept me up. There was so much new information in there that I was hooked. Basic things that I never even thought about. I only had about a quarter left.

It was like searching for a needle in a haystack, and with every passing minute, the urgency only grew. But then, as I was about to give up for the night, something caught my eye—a small, weathered book tucked away on the bottom shelf. Its cover was faded, the title barely legible, but there was something about it that drew me in. I carefully pulled it from the shelf, the pages brittle and yellowed with age. The title read, *The Lost Chronicles: A History of the Ancient Magics*. My heart raced as I opened the book, scanning the pages for anything that might be relevant. It wasn’t long before I found a section that made my breath catch in my throat.

Surprised, I open the chat. It's a photo of... about two girls... but... it's blurry, the resolution of the image sucks. Disgusting! I throw my phone aside and stretch out lazily in the spacious comfort of my bed. My backpack is on the floor and I remember Edrien's book. You should read it and see who this Jack guy is. I stretch out my arm, I check the book inside the bag with my touch, I complete the mission and with the book in my hands I start reading.

Day 23. I had stayed up all the night with the book. It was the oddest book I had ever seen. I sat at my desk in my small room, and carefully opened the black book. It was the most confusing thing I had ever seen but yet I had been savagely drawn to it, like it held some sort of secrets I was supposed to uncover.

In the end, the inquisitive one won but first, I listened for footsteps and when I could make out none, I got off the bed and went for the book, flicking its first page open. The only person who could give me a book was Zena but it was also weird, what kind of book it was. It wasn’t the usual one we both read and enjoyed. It was some sort of self-help book and its title was even more weird. “Kicking trauma’s butt with style!”

You can explain this. "Where am I? How did I get here?" Her last memory was of reading the damn book and—the book! Where was the book? Her heart thundered uncontrollably, a barrage of thunder inside her chest, as she probed her surroundings once more. There! Her book rested on the vanity, so close, yet so far away.
