My eyes darts around, searching for help from anyone. Then, in one swift motion, he pulls out a gun and aims it straight at me. His fingers are about to pull the trigger.

None of us can die. A soft palm grabs my hand, and I look up. My sight is blurred, but I know it’s her. I strain to focus on her face. Her eyes are full of fear. I want to make her smile.
