I feel so alone. --------------------

Let him hold me and promise everything will be okay. Because it will not be okay. Nothing will ever be okay again. So I just keep walking. Into the cold afternoon. Into the unknown. Into whatever comes next. Alone. The way I should have stayed from the beginning.

I shake my head. No. Not her either. Not tonight. I don’t want a distraction of that kind. I don’t want control through submission. I don’t want anything. I just want… silence. ~~~~ I’m walking alone, and the air is cold….too cold. The alley is narrow, dark, suffocating. The walls feel like they’re closing in. My footsteps echo too loudly, too sharp. Something is wrong, and I can feel it. My chest tightens and I stop immediately scanning the alley through the silence.

"Mia, we're leaving. We don't need Daddy anymore. Okay?" "Okay." We packed our things and walked out. I never looked back.

“I want to be alone. Get away from me.” My voice cracked, breaking into an ugly sob. “I want to be alone… please… leave me alone… leave me… alone.”

I called my best friend, hoping she would come over and stay by my side, I wanted her to help me stop feeling this sadness, but all the calls ended in voicemail. I sighed, I had no intention of staying in this house longer than necessary, it reminded me of all the memories, I wanted to forget, so I grabbed my coat and headed to the nearest bar. I winced as soon as I took the shot, “Give me three more,”

ELIAS …. Third stupid year started some weeks ago, and men! I got into the first coffee shop my eye caught and got in and got a coffee and a chocolate e muffin. I paid for what I took and got out again.

Marco shot me a furious glare and chased after her. His friends exchanged awkward glances and drifted away one by one. Soon I was alone in the grand hall. I took a knife and cut three slices of cake.
