Pauline said as she squinted her eyes trying to make out the image on his left hand. It was a phoenix bird. A huge one at that. It looked like it was in the middle of a fire as it was painted in orange. ... " Are you sure you can handle being my secretary miss Diana " Skylar said as he rolled his pen in between his fingers. It seems like a habit of his.

Ilyria looked closer at the shimmering feather in Thassa’s hand. It was at once like water and like mist, pale and dark. She felt that if she looked at it long enough, it could transport her away, perhaps even to Zarmej. When she looked up, Thassa was watching her. “It is from the Lightning Bird,” he said, confirming her fear. “But you said it was from Vatra,” said Ilyria. He had made a mistake, surely?

The light became so bright that Phoenix had to cover her eyes so she wouldn't go blind. " Phoenix " A pleasant voice echoed the whole room. " Who...are... you? " Phoenix managed to ask, her whole body shaking in fear. Her eyes spotted something which made them widen greatly. Right in the middle of the room was a bird...a big bird almost the same size as an ostrich, rising from its ashes, with fire and flame revolving around it. The bird was no ordinary bird. It looked like a peacock with red and golden feathers, and a tail that was rich red. Its body was scarlet and gold plumage, making it look extremely beautiful.

Dimitri adds. “They have all your features, the white hair with the fiery red streak. The only difference is your eyes. Phantom phoenixes normally have clear blue to almost solid white eyes. Obviously, your eye color comes from the fae side. Same as my sisters. Phantom phoenixes can mimic other phoenixes, to keep themselves hidden. Obviously, anger brings out your true self.” Chris explains.

It's none of his business. Before I could open my mouth to answer him, a chippy sound coming from neither Blake and I is heard. Turning my head to the left, I see the most exquisite being ever! The different colors of white, pink, yellow, black, orange, dark blue and others which blend in together so perfectly are all on the bird. It has a short multicolored tail and a long orange beak that compliments its black eyes with brown circles on them.

After the Phoenix clan was wiped out, we peacocks became the new rulers of all birds. Peacocks came in six colors: mystical black, purple, green, blue, white, and ordinary black. Among them, the mystical black was the most legendary, as no one had seen one in three million years, leading many to believe it was merely a myth from ancient times. Purple peacocks were incredibly rare, appearing only once in a hundred thousand years. Therefore, in the Peacock clan, green peacocks were considered the most noble, while black peacocks were seen as the lowest of all.

The detail in those feathers is exquisite, every line sharp and sure. I glance back at the walls. Most of the animals she has up are wolves, which makes sense, I guess. But none of them appeal to me. Nothing I want inked into my skin permanently. I do another slow circuit of the room, scanning for anything I might have missed, but it is the same. The only piece that keeps catching my eye is the bird. Sage must notice, because from my spot by the far wall she says, “It’s a phoenix. The phoenix dies and is reborn from the ashes. It symbolises rebirth, strength and transformation.”

Kano asks, but Amne is already shaking her head no. “What you hear tonight must stay between us. We’ll explain why, but just know it doesn’t leave this house,” Kaylani says. I feel Phoenix push forward and look at Ebba. “What do you think I am, little water dragon?” she asks her. “You're a fire bird!” she says confidently. “A fire bird? What does that mean?” Keagan asks. “It means, elf hybrid, that I am a Phoenix,” Phoenix says. You could have heard a pin drop.

We both are men! "Before we give you your name. Tell us first, what are you?" I seriously asked the hatchling. Jevro's face, which earlier had been wide-eyed, now suddenly became serious and also looked at the bird. The hatchling jumped up once to face the two of us. While George remains silent while picking the egg shells. "I'm the blueish fire ice Phoenix." The bird answered.

"Meow. Is this big bird still alive? Why does it look alive? Look at its feathers. Meow. The feathers are shining. It would be good for me to have such beautiful feathers..." Evil Moon's eyes were bright. He rubbed his claws and obviously he was looking for some place to begin biting. "Yes. As the legend says, the phoenix is an immortal bird and it can return to life after death..." Under the devil cat's influence, some crystal drool appeared in Ding Hao's mouth corners. "Chiang!" The devil cat could not wait to wave his claws. Unexpectedly, the cat failed to cut the phoenix's feathers as he scratched them. Like a saber colliding with a sword, a cluster of golden sparks splashed.
