She grinned in excitement as she watched him fill the cone with ice cream. He handed the ice cream back to her and said in admiration, " I must say, you're one brilliant woman", " Thank you", she cooed as she licked the ice cream in joy. Letting the cold sweet ice melt in her mouth, she moaned.

As if he read my mind his smile faded, and he looked away quickly. He opened the fridge and took out a tub of ice cream. I snickered. One of the staff gave us two bowls and spoons. He scooped generous amounts of chocolate ice cream into them and handed me one. “Ice cream is the best medicine.” He said, winking at me. “And you know that why?” I took a bite of the cold confection and let it melt in my mouth. “Well, I’ve had my fair share of feeling miserable.” He said, licking his spoon. “The man who took me under his wing, Big Jim was his name, he taught me everything I knew.
