The video stuttered to life on my laptop, the timestamp showing three weeks ago. A sterile white room. A man strapped to a chair, electrodes snaking from his temples to a humming console. His pupils were blown wide, his lips moving silently. Then—the scream. It ripped through the safehouse speakers, raw and guttural. The man’s back arched as his skin moved, something slithering beneath his flesh like serpents under silk. His jaw unhinged. And he sang.

I smiled, as I heard the one in the middle whimpering. The man looked up at me, a full glare filled with spite on his face. I reacted swiftly, lodging the pliers into his eyes. He gagged through his scream, as blood trailed over his face, creating a horrible effect. The other two watched in Shock. I straightened, taking up my dagger, and exhaling a breath, trying to tame the monster in me.

He was still thinking, when he heard someone scream and he immediately rushed to the direction the scream was coming from. Elena screamed at the sight of something that looked like a wolf that was skinned alive and before she could realize herself, she felt a cold hand encircled around her waist and she slowly opened her eyes to see Damien standing in front of her smiling..... I scream as loud as I could never fathom. “You think you can scream?” The man in front of me expands his palm and slaps me so hard across the face with a force that plunges me right into the ground. “Get her up! Let us see how high her voice can go!” He roars and the other men obey.

I scream as the man swings his knife, slicing a deep gash across Liam’s shoulder. Blood sprays out of the wound, but Liam doesn’t even act like he noticed it. He grabs the man’s knife hand, twists it violently until the wrist snaps with a sickening crack. Then he drives his elbow straight into the man’s throat. The thug chokes, gasping for air. With one final, vicious shove, Liam hurls him over the edge of the cliff and his shout fades quickly into the crashing waves below. The second man lunges at Liam from the side, stabbing wildly toward his ribs.

I heard him respond to the order before getting close to me. “Aaaahhhhhhj!!!” I scream my lungs out, as the first thing I see is the face of their boss. The man has a long scar stretching from where his left eye is supposed to be, across his nose, to his right jaw. The mark is so ghastly that anyone would have nightmares looking at him. Even his left eye is missing. What a horrific sight! “Hahahahhahahah!!!” “Hahahahhaha!!!”

Screech. A black SUV cut across the road and came to a hard stop directly in front of the bus. Before the driver could react, two men in black stepped out, both wearing caps low over their faces. One headed for the driver’s side, the other came straight for the door. “What the hell–” the driver started, but the door was yanked open with a hiss of compressed air. The man stepped in, scanning the passengers quickly. “Liam.” Liam stiffened.

They laughed darkly and I shivered. God, I've never seen them like that. Angry maybe, but evil? Never. "Here we are." Erico exclaimed. Slowly, Mario opened the metal door. He put his hand on a pad and it opened. We heard the click of many locks. I froze when I heard a scream. A man's scream. I followed them inside and saw a tied man missing a hand and a leg. "Elijah Robbie. Did you think that you will escape me?" Vincenzo said in a low deep voice. Even I shivered.

I screamed so loud that I knew everyone within one kilometer must have heard me but no one came to help me as if none listened to my scream. Where was I? “SHUT UP,” he ordered but didn’t stop. I was scared as hell. The man in front of me was not human. I was sure of it. He released my hand only to place it on my mouth, muffling my screams. I squirmed in his hold, wanting nothing but to get away from him as far as I could. I still felt the tingles and his eyes again changed their color. It again went black instead of amber and I was about to pee myself.

Her eyes closed completely.
