Isla’s POV I froze. I definitely wasn’t affected by his words. But then goosebumps lined my skin. Heat built low in my belly and my thighs clenched together instinctively. If I wasn’t affected by his dirty way of talking, why then was my body betraying me? I cleared my throat. “You are my professor sir and I’m nothing but a student. I don’t think there’s anything I would be able to offer you.” I completely ignored the part where he mentioned the night before.

Jerome Laurent stood close enough that I could see the flecks of amber in his dark eyes. "Professor Laurent," I managed, my throat suddenly dry. "I didn't hear you come in." My pulse stuttered. "I didn't know anyone was still here," I said, too quickly. "Obviously." He pushed off the door and stepped inside. His boots were silent against the scuffed wooden floor. "Class ended at four. It's nearly six." I swallowed. "I lost track of time." His gaze flicked to my sketch. His lips quirked. "Evidently." He stepped closer, his cologne something woodsy with a hint of spice wrapping around me. "May I?"

I would have to ask Jannet for the notes later. Maybe I am fearing for nothing. Even if mate bonds are adulterated nowadays, I think his love for me is genuine. Or else, who would go to such such lengths for a person, if they only had to use them as a play toy. The lecture got over and once the professor left, I stretched my arms and yawned. Why did the lectures always feel never-ending? If I was a professor, I would have put some effort in making the subjects interesting. Not only that, I would have tried to change the way this college functioned. The staffs should take their work seriously, and yet all they cared about was their pay check.

I could not understand how and why I was suddenly so much engrossed in her instead of the world around me. But the professor told her to get out of the class. That bitch! And her name. For some reason, as the professor said her name, I could not help but imagine calling her with it again and again. The thoughts of groaning aloud Ava, and spilling my seed inside her as she writhed under me was so vivid and clear.

Sarah. I was almost falling asleep, the professor that was actually not our real professor but a substitute was soooo freaking boring!! When i looked around to my fellow classmates they were equally "intrigued" as i was, at his story, if he has at least showed some kind of enthusiasm if he had it in his bones then it wouldn't be so damn irritating boring!! I mutter to myself but my dearest Liam, my very handsome boyfriend heard me and was rolling his eyes at me!

Now you can." He said to me, Then he let go of me and took a step backwards. I stood there absolutely perplexed as we were staring at each other. I was starting hard at him as I kept thinking of a way around my emotions while he kept smiling seductively. I thought to myself.... Professor Derrick is a wicked, wicked man!

His smile was small, polite, but the kind that stays with you long after you’ve left the room. That was the first problem. I wasn’t supposed to notice him. He was my professor, brilliant, thirty-something, rumored to be cold, and known for dismantling a student’s arguments with precision. I was twenty-one, curious, reckless, and far too eager to prove I belonged in his world of quiet intellect and sharp logic. And yet, every time he spoke in class, his voice seemed to find me, cutting through the noise, through the rows of students, through every rational reason I gave myself to stop feeling what I felt.

The professor yelled. "It was only two words!" The guy snapped. "2 points minus because you talked back to me!" He noted down on his notepad, the guy growled and gave him a fake smile. "This man is going to have a lower grade." Justin whispered beside me, I frowned and pushed him with irony. "Lovers, I know you guys are in love but please those snappy moments are not acceptable in my auditorium." The professor said, referring to us. I jumped, startled and glared at my professor who only winked at me.

It was a text from Greg again. From: Greg Can’t wait to see you in class Miss Lemuel. I couldn’t help but burst into laughter when I read his text. Oh gosh, this guy! To: Greg Yeah, yeah. Don’t be so obvious please. SIR GREG I chuckled. I could imagine him frowning at my text. I sufddenly came to realize how big the change is now. Anf I cannot believe that this is happening. I mean, my professor is my special someone!
