Imaginary Friend (novel) Novels & Stories

I wanted friends but I didn't want to let anyone in, I didn't want to be disappointed. Maybe because I thought this was all a dream, I let Kagami worm his way up that wall. We'd eye each other there from a distance for the longest time, I had failed to realize he was actually a megasized titan plush doll. Always peeping over at me and occasionally bombing me with packets of sugar. Little did I know the bombing was actually super effective. He used the sugar to build a bridge. When I'm with him I feel like life can be sunny and sweet. So that's what it is...To think my first real friend would be a boy.

He is advancing but I can’t seem to open my mouth to call his name again. I felt a single drop of tear fall from my eye as I watched him sprint their way. I feel like exploding with all of the things going on in my mind and the mixed emotions I am feeling. I do not know what to believe anymore. I thought he was my friend… an ally. I realized my mistake of calling it a diary on seeing the glee appearing on his face. "Oh my God." He looked back at it in his hand and smiled, "This would be an amazing replacement for Frankenstein." "Don't you dare read it!" I walked around the table and he moved farther away from me to the door, "Give it back Nexus! It's not yours to read." If he read that book I could as well be dead. "Best friends have no boundaries and privacy from each other." He quoted, "Book of best friends, rule 89." "Where on earth is that written?" I clicked my tongue as he moved his fingers in the air and a book appeared out of thin air. He threw it at me and I caught it.

They’re Zaire’s friends. Or Katherine’s friends. I’m just their weird, pale sister that tags along. I’ve got this. I can be strong. “It has nothing to do. That's just Jayden's assumption, and the inheritance never existed. If anything, why should Jayden's mom have to work harder for Jayden and Remi? The book recounts Jayden's point of view with his crazy, mistaken thoughts. But I think the art teacher knows Jayden's weirdness. He began to be suspicious of Jayden, who turned out to have no real friend. His friend is just an imaginary friend whose art teacher could never find among all the students at school." “Okay, okay, you are great, Harp. Come here." Alex forced Harper up from her chair and began to pull her onto his lap. The explanation of the book Read My Mind was enough for him tonight. Rather than telling a fictio

Chapter 12: Do you want him to find us that easily Michael was hovering beside one sphere when Julia reached him. Close up the mirroring became transparent and you could see what was going on inside, even if it was a little misty. In this particular case a balding, fat, middle-aged man was surrounded by beautiful, mostly naked Las Vegas showgirls, complete with feathers and heavily exaggerated silicon breasts. Michael shook his head. "I hope I never start having dreams that tacky," he remarked, and then floated off toward another dreamscape.

She froze, her hands on a stack of books. “It’s just the house,” she whispered to herself. “Old houses are drafty.” But she didn’t sound convinced. She turned slowly, her eyes scanning the room. She looked right through where I stood. For a moment, I thought she might see me. But she shook her head and went back to unpacking. Sophie ran into the room and hugged her mother’s legs. “Mommy, Diane is here. She says she likes you.” Claire hugged Sophie tightly, her hands trembling slightly. “Sweetheart, we talked about this. Diane is your imaginary friend. She’s not real.”

Well, that was the twist, Jane isn’t even real, she is just a figment of Anna’s imagination, her creation, a fantasy friend she had created to fill the hole her family’s death left in her heart. Psychologically, when a huge part of our life is chunked away, the mind finds a way to create a replacement to fill that hole. For Anna, it was her imaginary friend- Jane, she showed up whenever she needed her most, and she was just as real as any friend, except that she lived in Anna’s mind and so only existed for her. The so perfect Jane!! To be continued!
