CHAPTER 18 When I come to—porcupines knows how long I was out for—the first thing I am able to register—aside from the dull, aching throb at the base of my neck—is the cold, hard marble of the school hallway floor. I groan in pain, and listen to footsteps quickly departing and the front doors of the school opening, and then slamming shut. As my vision slowly returns to focus, I find myself staring across the floor back at Bethany, who is unconscious and lying in a pool of her own blood.

His body convulses, his eyeballs roll up, the strong commanding man is reduced to a dying lettuce bleeding out in front of me. I spit out the blood in my mouth and stare at the first man I took his life. I almost get lost watching life leave a body. I almost got lost seeing all the blood but I knew soon someone would find out that the masculine screams came from here so my mind wakes up. I grab his bunch of keys and run off into the hallway - into a world I'm not sure what lies ahead. The hallway is brightly illuminated. I am running in the open. I want to enter another cubicle, I want to leave these bright lights but I keep running without knowing which way is forward.

I was about to speak when we suddenly stop from nowhere when someone appeared in front of us. He's wearing a hoodie jacket which unable me to see his face, but my heart thumping so fast when I stared at him. It's as if that I know him. “Spare their lives, or you will be dead.” My mouth agape in shock upon hearing his voice.

VOLUME ONE: Eternally Yours Prologue Laying in the darkness, pain wrenches me, sending electrical currents throughout my body. As the pain subsides, I can see nothing at all in this black fortress, not even my hand as I hold it before my face.
