“Go upstairs and get in the shower, that’ll help you feel better. I promise you that tomorrow morning when you come downstairs this mess will be gone.” “Fine…” I whisper. My legs feel wobbly as I go upstairs. The moment I reach the bedroom I take off my bloodstained clothes and I get into the shower. The hot water is not helping me at all, I’m still shivering. I had never seen a person die before… and now I just saw a man being murdered right in front of me. I cover my ears so I don’t hear the gunshots, but they are inside my head. I sit on the shower floor and I let the hot water run down my body.
