My Death Was Just "Drama" to Her

My Death Was Just "Drama" to Her

Mom just refused to believe it. In the past, every time she found an excuse to beat me—saying I bullied Cindy or ruined her things—she struck with full force. I didn't die from those beatings. When I jumped into the river, I was only one step away from death. Still, someone saved me. Once again, I didn't die. Like a cat with nine lives, I stubbornly survived no matter how she tormented me. But this time, she had stood by and did nothing when I was dying. How could she not know that was my body? I was already dead, and that was the unchangeable truth.

Death's Day

Death's Day

If it ever did, he would dismiss it as a mere gossip. Marcus continued staring through the windows as the greenery rushed past them, while he turned back inwardly to something that was troubling his soul. His mind told him he had made a mistake. His ego told him that what he did was right. It was not every day that one got to deal with a witch, even if it was a little boy. That wouldn’t have been a problem if he had not nearly choked because the boy, Jason was looking at him. Dean had died soon after. Problem was he didn’t know how powerful the boy was.

The Death That Drove Him Insane

The Death That Drove Him Insane

I wanted to etch his face into my memory so that I could stay far away from him in the next life. Lifeless, he was no different from a dead man. As death crept closer, Daniel asked to see Jennifer. By then, she was heavily pregnant. She didn't come alone and brought several caretakers with her. This time, he didn't say anything harsh. He simply dropped to his knees before her. "Please, just tell me where Helen's ashes are. I'm dying. I won't fight you for anything. Please just give her back to me. I want to be buried next to her when I'm dead!"

My Robot Replaced Me After Death

My Robot Replaced Me After Death

"How can you blame me? Wasn't this your choice all along? Gaston is dead, Diane. From now on, you'll be with me. I'll treat you well. I'll manage your family's company. You can rest easy." Before he could finish, Diane grabbed a sharp metal shard and drove it straight into him. He never expected her to fight like a cornered animal. The blade sank deep into his abdomen. Even as his lifeblood drained, he sneered, "Even if you kill me, Gaston will never come back." "Shut up. Shut up!" Her screams tore through the basement as she plunged the blade into his skull. Blood and brain matter spattered across the floor. 'Yes,' she thought bitterly, 'that's what a normal brain looks like.'

The Alpha’s Contract

The Alpha’s Contract

Roan makes me jump. He is sitting outside the office door when I enter the packhouse. He rises to his feet when he sees me. His dark grey eyes drift down to my blood covered hand. “You killed him?” His tone is empty, but he continues to stare at me like he had since we first met. “Yes, he is dead.” I don’t know what it is about this man, but he brings out my irritation just by existing. “That makes you the last one. Well, you and Jess.”

Denitsa Pelovska
This book is not really completed. The story ends in the middle of a jump and we should continue reading book 2 but there are no updates. If you don't care that the book is unfinished - it was interesting with good dynamic and the plot is good. A lot of main characters die so don't take liking one

I really fell in love with the story very interesting, and it makes you always want to read more.. I'm just sad that there's no update from the author and it just stopped. I'm still really rooting for the story and I really hope the author is doing well and reconsider her fans that are still waiting

Shock of My Death

Shock of My Death

He paused deliberately, his eyes flickering ever so subtly in my direction. The room fell deathly silent. Everyone waited, holding their breath for the final pronouncement. "Murder." The word hit like a thunderclap, echoing in the shocked silence. Chaos erupted once more, the noise from the reporters deafening, while online, the live stream chat exploded with comments: "Sabrina is dead!?" "No way! How is this possible?!" "Murder? What is he saying? That Arianna and Charles killed her?" "OMG, this is wild!"

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

Jenny's POV "Dr. Robertson Jean has been murdered by some guys in all blacks. Although...their faces were not seen. The security officials in conjunction with the criminal physiologists would be ready to work on this case and develop profiles of the murderers, so as to...." The newscaster continued eloquently giving out the news as she showed us the picture of the scene. At first, I got curious and dismayed when I heard the name, Robertson. I was so sure that he was the one but..."why was he killed..? And who...killed him?" I continued to question my heart before I recollected something. I tried to move my head to see Lucifer but it was so heavy. I wanted to talk but all I could reach was st

Death is the only Escape

Jane nodded and was quite relieved that Amy didn't hear her. Although she didn't show, Amy was a little stressed about this situation, and thus nothing else mattered to her at that point. * "I'm telling you!" Mr. J said as he stood in front of the gang leader. "They're planning to take over the underworld. She even claimed to be Summer Astley." He was looking anxious as if his death was coming any time soon, face covered with sweat and eyes unfocused.
